Starting a new phase in my life. Tomorrow is the first day of my course with the Jewellers Academy studying for a year to hopefully pass and gain a Diploma in Silver Jewellery. Handmade & Well Paid is a campaign to help ensure makers are well paid for the work they do whilst helping customers to make good decisions about which makers to buy from.

Makers need a sustainable income in order to keep running their businesses and making their crafts.

Customers value and admire the work of handmade artists and want to support them fairly to ensure they are making a good living wage for themselves.

We at Jewellers Academy are committed to promoting this campaign and we want to invite you to do the same.

To support both sides - maker and customer, help us spread the word and get makers well paid and customers feeling confident about buying wonderful handmade work.

Every business needs a name but what to choose? I still own the domains for Tiaras and Gems but they no longer suit what I will be going on todo.

A name for a business has to be something people will remember. Easy to search and easy to pronounce.

Will let you know when I am a bit further into the journey……

We are asking if any business is able to donate a raffle prize or vouchers (especially if you trade on line) to a raffle which will be drawn just before Christmas, you will be acknowledged as donating which is good promotion for your business. The raffle is to aid my daughter raise funds to donate in memory of her beautiful son to Colchester Neo Natal Unit via her Justgiving page. Many Thanks TnG x

As some of you know my Grandson Harry was born on the 3rd July, sadly he passed away the same day. My daughter is fundraising for Colchester NeoNatal Unit via Just Giving, if you feel you can make a donation however small please do so to help her with this challenge.
