Long summer evenings at Barnfield Weddings and Events look like this. Food trucks (Gully.UK and Mac st Kitchen this time), drinks from a horse box ( The Beaufort Box), great bands (The Good, The Bad & the Ugly....& Jim) , beautiful tipis from Coast To Coast Tipis, and a lakeside fire pit in case the evening gets chilly (remember that?!)

Please could you clarify - I understand the Braintree bypass A131 will be closed at points this weekend? Is that correct?
Please could you clarify timings? Your online map says (I think?) that it will be closed continuously, but someone has told me it’s only closed after 8pm. We really need to know!

A little bit more about the small but lovely Barn at Barnfields, which overlooks the lake.
We’ll be ready to share details of packages and prices next month, but for now here’s a little more of a taste of what it looks like when it’s in the hands of experts.
Perfect as it is for an intimate sit down meal with 40, or up to 70 with a marquee on the courtyard outside.
