A very special 80th birthday 🤍

This celebration began with a phone consultation, followed by sharing colour inspiration via email to ensure every detail felt just right for such an important milestone.

Soft champagne tones, layered blues and elegant chrome accents were carefully chosen to complement the table styling and the beautiful room at in Bocking, Braintree. Seeing everything come together exactly as planned is why I love what I do.

After regularly entering competitions and attending online training sessions with (the UK’s leading balloon and party industry association), I was absolutely thrilled to be selected for an interview for their latest member spotlight feature!

It was such an honour to be recognised by an industry body I admire so much, and the experience really gave me the chance to reflect on my journey so far — and where I want to take my business in the future.

From small local beginnings to now building a brand that serves both personal celebrations and larger corporate clients, I’m so proud of how far things have come — and so excited for what’s next!

✨ Sharpening our skills & growing our businesses — together!

I spent the day with the lovely Balloons by Krystle, getting hands-on with the Aeropole system. It’s something we’re keen to offer more of — but only once we’re 100% confident in set-up and design. Quality always comes first!

We’ve never seen each other as competitors. We trained together back in August 2022 (Level 1), became great friends, and have loved helping each other grow ever since. Whether it’s learning new techniques, working together, or passing on bookings, it’s so important to have fellow professionals you trust and know will deliver the same high standards.

Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to attend PIE (Party Industry Event) — and wow, what an experience!

Day 1 kicked off with a BIG build. Split into three teams, we collaborated on large-scale installations for the Gala evening. My group brought two incredible walls to life — one with a gramophone/music theme and another featuring dramatic, oversized masks to match the party’s theme.

Under expert guidance, we learned large-scale inflation, twisting techniques, and how to follow templates to create bold, cohesive structures.

This event wasn’t just fun — it was powerful. The people, the party, the hands-on experience… it’s all going to push my business forward in exciting new ways.
