I'm very pleased to say that a selection of Nodding violets' flowers will be for sale each week, at Eesome (Skircoat Green) throughout the Summer.
If you don't know it I'd encourage you to pay a visit.

For those who don't know of me, I'm Meryl, I grow cut flowers, locally, and make vintage style posies and bouquets to brighten life!
I ran a flower farm for 4 years, and horticulture has always been my career.
I'm only down in the Willowfield area of Halifax, where I have a little workshop at home.

June in the garden is an absolute delight.
Each day, more flowers are popping out, old friends that I see each year. Sometimes, just for a fleeting few days, then gone again until next year, Sometimes they stick around to delight us for a few weeks before disappearing again.
This is seasonal floristry. Grab the joy while it's there, much like life, wouldn't you say?

A few bunches have gone out this week, my bouquets are grown locally by me, so no air miles involved in getting them here. No chemicals are used on them and they are truly seasonal, in line with what nature provides, each month of the year.
They are wrapped simply, in brown paper and tied with rafia, all compostable.

I'm just having a few days away in the stunning Cotswolds.
Everywhere is dripping in Wisteria with banks of May blossom, Cow Parsley and Lilac trees, lining the lanes. It's heavenly.
I'm back next week and as the season trots on, I will have a bigger stock of flowers for you, like these here. Truly seasonal bouquets.
