⭐️ It was a pleasure to host Calderdale Council's Our Stars 2025 Awards at The Arches.

❤️ The evening thanked all the unsung heroes in public service throughout our borough.

Last week, we celebrated the achievements of our employees and volunteers at our annual Our Stars awards 🏆 A huge thank you to our sponsors whose generous support funded and made this event possible.

It's a chance for us to come together and celebrate the incredible talent and dedication of our staff 🌟 Congratulations to all of our deserving winners who were recognised for going above and beyond to make a difference to our communities in Calderdale.

The inspirational and touching stories shared were a reminder of just how much care and kindness there is in Calderdale - clear examples of Vision 34 in action.

❤️ On Sunday, it was Abi & Tom’s turn!

✏️ This was a gorgeous day from ceremony through to party. Choosing a more traditional format, Abi’s Dad, Les, delivered a perfect Father of the Bride speech.

🤔 DID YOU KNOW? Non-Saturday Weddings are becoming more popular due to many reasons including more flexibility in the working week and advantages of off-peak supplier pricing and availability allowing budgets to stretch further and dream venues and suppliers to be available on a chosen date.

🖤 Yesterday, it was Jack & Laura’s turn!

🎃 With such amazing decor, this wedding was all about attention to detail.

🍴 Guests enjoyed a choice of Roast Beef, Roast Chicken or a Mushroom, Beetroot & Spinach Wellington with all the usual accompaniments followed by Bao Buns & Pizza in the evening.

🤔 Full of lots of thoughtful details from the happy couple, Chloe & John kept their celebrations meaningful with a relaxed and casual vibe running through the day.

💃🏼 Their Late Afternoon Wedding meant that the day’s celebrations flowed seamlessly into the evening’s party where the dancefloor was full!

👧 A lot of thought went into the detail of this day. Our couple wanted to make sure every single guest was welcome and had a wonderful time.

⛺️ This fabulous play area was provided by Just for your Occasion

🍟 And younger guests even had their own bespoke menu of childhood favourites with Chicken Goujons, Fries & Yorkshire Puddings followed by Jam Roly Poly & Custard!

⭐️ We're a great central location for guests to gather, with the bus and train stations and two hotels in walking distance and a taxi rank as a neighbour.

⭐️ You would need to have a minimum of 120 guests and a maximum of 330/340 guests.
