🏁Behind the Build at CarFest Silverstone 👀🔨

Tomorrow, the doors open at CarFest. But before the brands come to life, there’s a lot of work happening behind the scenes.

Our teams have been on site, working alongside two brilliant creative agency partners to bring their brand experience concepts from the creative brief to reality.
From early starts and long days to the detail, problem-solving and teamwork that happens right through to the final finish, this is the part of live production you don’t always see.

It takes close collaboration between agencies, clients, production teams and everyone on the ground to make great brand experiences happen. 🤝
And as the final touches go in and we get ready for doors to open tomorrow… we’re nearly there. 🚀

A year on from the Taylex Group rebrand, it feels like the right time to reflect on what has changed and what the rebrand helped us communicate more clearly.
The reality is, Taylex had already evolved significantly before the new identity launched. We had expanded our services across exhibitions, live events, brand experiences, signs & graphics, retail & interiors, fabrication and digital, alongside growing our international capabilities through our Dubai operation.

The rebrand gave us a clearer way to bring all of that together and, importantly, reinforce the fact that we are a client services-led business. It helped shift the conversation from simply delivering a production brief to becoming a genuine extension of our clients’ and creative agency partners’ teams.

This latest Beyond the Build Q&A features Group Marketing Manager Abbie, who is also marking two years with Taylex Group. She reflects on the rebrand, the evolution of our proposition, our growing creative and international relationships, and what comes next for the Group.

🏁 Revolut at The British Grand Prix

There’s something pretty special about working behind the scenes at the British Grand Prix, but it also comes with a lot of moving parts!

For Revolut, our team delivered the production, logistics and installation of their branded hospitality environment at Silverstone, transforming the spaces into a premium destination for clients, partners and VIP guests in partnership with the amazing and talented team at Right Formula, an award winning integrated Sports Marketing Agency.

Our Signs & Graphics division played a key part in bringing the brand to life, producing the high-quality environmental graphics and branded elements that helped create a consistent look and feel throughout the hospitality spaces.

From production and print through to onsite installation, our teams worked together to manage every detail around tight schedules, restricted access and the demands of a live Formula 1 race weekend.

Everything needed to be in place, looking spot on and ready for guests before the racing got underway. 🏎️

It’s a great example of how our in-house teams work together to take a creative idea, handle the practicalities and deliver the finished experience on site.

👀 A glimpse behind the scenes at Taylex Group HQ. 👀

From planning meetings and design reviews to our manufacturing facility, this week has been a snapshot of what goes into bringing our Retail & Interiors projects to life.

While our teams continue preparing for exhibition season and fast approaching big live events at Silverstone and Royal Hospital Chelsea, our workshop is busy producing bespoke furniture, retail installations and interior fit-outs for clients across a range of sectors. Every project is moving through the same journey from concept and collaboration to precision manufacturing and installation.

💙 This week, we also welcomed partners from the US to our HQ, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at how our designers, project managers, fabricators and installers work together to transform ideas into environments that are built around experience, function and quality.

As we wrap up our Retail & Interiors focus this week, these moments are a reminder that every finished space starts long before installation day. It starts with people, planning, and collaboration.

One recent example saw us create a bespoke seating solution for Christie's Classic Week London, where every design decision had to complement, rather than compete with, the exceptional artworks on display.

The brief was deceptively simple: a single premium seating piece positioned at the heart of the gallery space.

The ex*****on demanded careful consideration of proportion, material selection and finish to ensure it felt as though it had always belonged within the environment.

✨ It's a great example of the craftsmanship and attention to detail our Retail & Interiors team brings to every project—whether we're manufacturing bespoke furniture, delivering luxury retail environments or producing custom interior features for premium spaces.
