I haven’t posted properly in months, and honestly, stepping back from my business has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do.

Last year, social media became such a huge part of my life and completely changed my business for the better. But behind the scenes, we were also navigating loss, trying for our baby and everything that came with that.

Then this year, finding out we were expecting Baby No.3 meant I knew I needed to take a serious step back. Mentally, it was what I needed, but that doesn’t mean it was easy.

Watching the numbers drop, followers stay steady, turning down jobs and knowing that showing up on socials really does impact bookings has definitely knocked my confidence.

But then I create something like this and it reminds me that I’m still here. 🥹

Still creating. Still capable. Still bloody good at what I do. 😂

And the fact this client booked me twice in one month means more than any Instagram number ever could. It reminds me that the hard work I’ve put in over the last few years hasn’t disappeared. The trust is still there. My clients are still here. And so am I.

To everyone who has stuck around this year thank you. 🤍

I know it hasn’t been all balloons and business. Life has been life but the community I’ve built and the clients who have continued to support me make me incredibly proud.

With just a few weeks until Baby No.3 arrives, I’m still here, still working and still pushing this very pregnant body through a busy September 😂

I might not feel as confident as I once did, but this set up reminded me I’ve still got it. 🧜🏼‍♀️🎈

And after baby arrives, you already know this self employed mum will be back at it. 🤍

We’ve been holding a little secret close to our hearts for some time now… 🤍🌈

After all the negative tests, the positives that turned negative, the tears, the heartbreak, and the moments we almost gave up hope, our prayers have finally been answered.

The most special thing so far is that you’re not just our baby, you’re their baby too. Watching these two fully embrace their big sibling era, seeing the excitement, the love, and the way they already adore you makes my heart explode. 🤍

You are the reason I’ve been taking things a little slower this year, and why my books will be closing at the end of the year as we prepare for the most important arrival of all.

There’s something so special about you already. You’ve completed our family before you’ve even arrived.

We cannot wait to hold you in our arms, love you endlessly, and never let you go. 💛

Full of colour, laughs and plenty of questions… soz Kiesha 😂 This girl is just vibes and honestly one of the best classes I’ve ever been on. So lovely meeting other balloonies with the same passion too 🫶🎈

Loved creating this with absolutely obsessed with the monochrome sage structure paired with all the bright pops of pink and florals 😍 Such a different style for me and I’m honestly in love with how editorial it feels.

“I’m not giving up…” 🎶

I listen to this song every single day… and I cry every time.

Because unless you’ve been in those really dark places where you’ve had to pull yourself out of it on your own I don’t think it hits the same.

Some days, I do want to give up. On this business, on everything. It gets heavy, it tests me but Ive built a strength I didn’t even know I had.

So even on the days I feel like I’m drowning, clinging onto anything just to stay afloat I remind myself I’m not giving up. I can’t.

I hope one day my kids see this and know I kept going. Even when it was hard. Even when I didn’t want to.

Because the real flex?
It’s not what you have.
It’s your strength.
Your resilience.
Your ability to keep pushing.
