What happens when one animal stops being part of a herd - and becomes someone you know? Jen shares the deeply personal story of Uni, one extraordinary cow whose trust came into her life at a time when she needed it most. What began with a quiet connection in a field would ultimately change the direction of her life, lead to the rescue of other animals and inspire and the wider Sentient Vision.

Through Uni’s story, Jen explores sentience, connection and the individuality we can so easily overlook in the animals around us - and how simply learning to truly see another being can change the way we see our own lives and the world around us. A story about one cow, one moment of connection - and a light that was never meant to be kept, but passed on.
