FROM PARWOOD❗️
After nearly 15 years, we have taken the decision to stop running British Showjumping and British Dressage competitions at Parwood.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank both British Showjumping and British Dressage for their enormous support over the years.
Unfortunately, alongside our other commitments, we can no longer give the shows the time and attention they require, and we are not prepared to run them to anything less than the standard we have always aimed to provide.
We would also like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years, including judges, stewards, arena parties, course builders, writers, volunteers, caterers, photographers and so many others. There are simply too many people to mention individually, but we are enormously grateful to every one of you for your time, hard work and support.
Successful shows are always a team effort, and we could not have done it without you.
To all of our competitors, thank you. Your support over nearly 15 years has meant a great deal to us, and we have loved welcoming so many of you to Parwood. We wish you all the very best for the future and hope to continue seeing many of you here.
We also want to be very clear about what this announcement does not mean. Parwood is not closing.
The centre remains open for arena hire, and our clinics and camps will continue as before. If you have already booked with us for any of these, nothing changes in terms of what is available or how you book.
Anyone who has already entered forthcoming competitions will receive a full refund.
We are also pleased to say that we are planning to reopen our cross country course in 2027, and we will share further details nearer the time.
Alongside this, we are seeking a tenant to take on the operation of the centre and livery yard. We have finally secured full planning permission for its expansion, and our intention is to find an operator with the time, energy and ambition to develop Parwood properly. We very much hope that this will ultimately include the return of competitions to the centre.
Until that is settled, the centre will remain open for arena hire, clinics and camps, and we will keep you informed as matters progress.
