Hi, I’m Jo Smith & I live and run my floristry business from my home “Borrowdale” in the village of Holton-le-Clay, North East Lincolnshire. I have been working with flowers for almost 25 years & have qualifications in floristry, horticulture & teaching, over the years I have won many competitions & awards including an RHS Gold Metal, I’ve learnt a lot, met & taught some amazing people, travelled

& enjoyed some wonderful opportunities, all surrounded & submerged in flowers. I love what I do & take the responsibility of it very seriously, it’s the best job in the world and being a part of your lives for all those occasions when flowers take centre stage is a huge privilege. Flowers are present & represent us in all aspects of our lives, they are personal, memorable & beautiful & carry with them your thoughts, feelings & emotions. Our Story

Qualified Floral Designer, Tutor, Area Demonstrator, Horticulturist and Member of NAFAS Teachers Association. NAFAS National Teacher I have been working and creating with plants and flowers for many years and use a vast amount of home-grown foliage's and flowers in my floral design, demonstrations and competition work. Having a good knowledge of horticulture works hand in hand with floral design and my garden is often the inspiration for many of my work.... A good understanding of the elements and principles of design are essential for horticulture, garden design and floral design, they must all come together and be used correctly to create overall harmony.

I use this knowledge and skill to arrange beautiful designs for your Wedding or special event, saying goodbye to loved ones or a floral demonstration. If you wish to learn these skills for yourself perhaps you’d like to attend a workshop or short leisure course or maybe gain a qualification with the NAFAS Level 1 or 2 in Floral Art and Design.
