Honouring a Legacy in Bloom 🌸💙

It was an honor to be entrusted by a family to create this very special tribute—a faithful representation of the Scottish Mackay Clan Crest.

This unique pillow arrangement features the central crest—a strong hand holding a dagger—framed by small blue thistles, the emblem of Scotland. The text around the crest reads “MANU FORTI,” the powerful clan motto meaning “With a Strong Hand.”
The flowers, in shades of deep blue delphiniums, cornflowers, white roses, and gypsophila, surround a burlap ribbon with the family name, “MACKAY,” and small tartan bows at the corners. The blue ribbon corners complete the look.
Knowing the family was thrilled with this design for their late loved one made me so happy! It is a true privilege to create meaningful, highly personal pieces like this that reflect a lifetime of heritage and love.
