We havn’t sent cards or gifts this year but there will be a WhatsApp sent to our nearest and dearest clients and suppliers explaining why with well-wishes of course.

We hope everyone enjoys some well earned rest 🫶

Our friends at Sweetie Factory provided us with these proper yummy treats our 10 year anniversary recently…
• Artisan chocolates
• Fudge cake lollies
• Iced biscuits

We put them in the claw machine and everyone went nuts for them! (there were no nuts in the making of these treats)

That's a wrap on my first decade of business, and what a ride it has been!

I try to stay under the radar in the event industry, supporting clients almost in secret - and I am proud to say that all of my business still comes from repeat clients and recommendations and to this day i've never had to spend a penny on marketing.

To celebrate, I hosted a daytime event at Cloud23 with all of my clients, suppliers, friends, and family who have impacted my business and its success since 2013. We had an absolute blast, and I am grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way.

A huge thank you to our suppliers for helping us pull off a daytime celebration in such style...

Who even works 9-5? Most of us work flexibly now, but not everyone will know your personal hours. We’re pretty flexible because working in events is mental!

I’ve updated our email signatures to include each team members working time and also explained that there’s no pressure for anyone to reply to us if it’s out of hours for their working day.

Here’s some useful signature or sign-off ideas for you to use on your email 💻🕤

Here’s a couple of pics of a recent event produced with just a couple of months notice. I regularly get called upon to support events that need someone to step in and take control.

There’s not always enough resource available when a business asks an internal person or even a team to deliver an event - and there isn’t the budget for an agency approach either, so on occasion I work in “Hybrid Mode” to get an event delivered - this was one of those times.

As always, my go-to AV provision from was drafted in to make the most of the budget that was available.

Last month we shared ideas on living more sustainably - but then we found out that 60% of journeys between 1-2 miles long in England are made by a motor vehicle!!? 😱

This one surprised us... you can switch banks to make a big impact! 💰 Banks should be doing more than planting one tree per account opened, or producing cards made from recyclable materials.
