The Dressing-up Box HUGE range of costumes and accessories. Catering for all sizes and budgets. Also stockist of make up (both face-paints and theatrical)and wigs.

The Dressing-Up Box is a privately owned company with a vast range of quality, unique costumes to hire. We cater for individuals going to parties or for groups putting on a production. Our costumes range from the historical to the most current famous faces. We can create costumes to provide each customer with the perfect outfit and make alterations if necessary. We can also make bespoke costumes (when time allows). As well as over 10,000 hire costumes, we also stock a large selection of sell- through costumes and accessories plus make-up and wigs - all at competitive prices. At Dressing Up Box, we have costumes for a huge range of plays and musicals, and can help with everything from a few key characters to costumes for a whole cast.

As a Drama teacher myself, I know how much work goes into putting on a school production (and how quickly the costume list grows! 😅), so we’re always happy to help you work out what you need.
