The Dressing-Up Box is a privately owned company with a vast range of quality, unique costumes to hire. We cater for individuals going to parties or for groups putting on a production. Our costumes range from the historical to the most current famous faces. We can create costumes to provide each customer with the perfect outfit and make alterations if necessary. We can also make bespoke costumes

Latest news: We will continue to HIRE costumes while we sell off the Fancy Dress outfits and accessories. Hopefully, the period costumes and 'shows' will continue under new management in the Autumn.

SAD NEWS: It's time for me to retire, so The Dressing-Up Box is closing.
As many of you know, we have thousands of costumes, accessories, wigs, hats and footwear. It will all have to be sold over the next 6 months, but the shop will only be opening 'as usual' during March.

After that, we will have 'Sale Days'. So, if there's a costume that you've hired in the past, and love ... come in and buy it.
