It was a privilege to create these farewell flowers and help mark a very personal goodbye.
This tribute featured 66 magnificent Ecuadorian yellow roses. While this gentleman’s early working life was devoted to growing and working with roses, the number of roses held an even deeper significance, representing the 66 years he was married to his beloved wife.
The church was adorned with coordinating floral arrangements, creating a beautiful and fitting setting for family and friends to gather and remember a life well lived. Following the service, the casket spray was thoughtfully transformed into basket arrangements for family members to take home, allowing the flowers to continue bringing comfort and cherished memories in the days ahead.
Goodbyes are always difficult and heartbreaking. Being able to create a personalised floral tribute that reflects a person's life, loves and family connections is both a privilege and a responsibility that I never take for granted.
