So, the last big milestone in our journey was the launch of the Gelston Pop Up Shop.

In February 2023, we set up a simple chiller counter under a gazebo and opened the farm for a small pop-up shop, with space for around eight cars and hopes that a few people might stop by.

By 9am, the cars started arriving and they just kept coming. We couldn’t believe the incredible support from everyone who came out to see us.

Looking back at these photos, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in just a few years. What began as a small pop-up has grown into so much more, now offering fresh farm produce alongside fruit and veg, cakes, pies, jams, flowers, gelato, and more.

Every month we’re still blown away by the number of people who travel out to support us. Thank you for being part of our journey—we couldn’t do it without you. 💚🚜

Back in November 2024, we added a different four-legged animal to the mix… 🧡

After talking about it for a long time, we finally took the plunge and bought four lovely in-calf Stabiliser heifers from our friends at Retford

The plan is to build our herd with the heifer calves while the male calves will be finished and sold through our butchery, giving us another fantastic home-produced product to offer our customers.

To keep things local, we’ve now put a Lincoln Red bull over them, a brilliant heritage breed with strong local roots. We’re excited to see where this new venture takes us and can’t wait to share the journey with you all!
