Sorting through this group of ewes today 🐑
The thinner ewes are being pulled off the group so they can have access to some better grass, along with a bit of extra feed, to help get them back into the right condition ahead of tupping.
You can certainly tell which ewes have reared lambs as ewe lambs this year, they’ve worked hard and it’s showing! Hopefully, with some extra attention over the coming weeks, we can get them back where they need to be and in good enough condition to still scan well.
The ewes that didn’t lamb as ewe lambs this year are still looking in great condition and are well on track for tupping.
It’s all about getting them in the best possible shape now to give us the best chance of a good scanning result and a successful breeding season 🤞🐑
