✨ THROWBACK TO THE WEEKEND… and a little bit of actual movie magic! ✨

We had a brilliant day at Beaulieu, National Motor Museum and came face-to-face with one of the most magical cars ever to hit the road… or, more accurately, leave it completely. 😂

Yep - the Ford Anglia from Harry Potter! 🪄🚙

This is the car that Ron Weasley and Harry Potter flew all the way to Hogwarts after they missed the Hogwarts Express - before making a rather dramatic arrival involving the Whomping Willow! 🌳💥

As a magician, I spend a fair amount of time making impossible things happen… but getting a Ford Anglia airborne might be slightly outside my current repertoire. 😂

Although judging by the look on Amelia's face, I think she'd happily have taken the keys and given it a go!

A proper little piece of Harry Potter movie magic right there. 🪄⚡

A massive thank you to the guys at BRWCA for having me at the Family Fun Day this afternoon!

Brilliant crowd, brilliant turnout and a really well put together event.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the magic and, more importantly, was happy to get involved - and believe me, that goes a long way for a magician! A crowd that wants to join in, have a laugh and be part of the magic always makes things that little bit extra special.

I really enjoyed being part of the day and I’m already looking forward to working with you again in the future!

Magic Steve is back after a little summer break! 🎩🪄✨️

And what better way to get back into it than at the BRWCA Family Fun Day this Sunday 30th August!

The event runs from 12pm - 8pm at BRWCA, Bridgemary School, Wych Lane, Gosport, with live music, a DJ, face painting, bouncy castle, a family farm, food, stalls, games and loads more.

I’ll be there from 2pm - 4pm, walking around and performing close-up magic right in front of you.

So if you’re around, pop along, grab some great food, see the animals, enjoy the entertainment and come and witness the impossible. ✨️🤯✨

Well… that was absolutely incredible. 🌒☀️

I knew I was going to enjoy seeing it, but actually standing there and watching the eclipse unfold was something else entirely.

Thankfully, the CEO loves all things space too, so she was completely fascinated watching the Moon slowly make its way across the Sun.

And we managed to capture the different stages as it happened! 📸

No fancy telescope. No professional camera setup. Just a phone with half a pair of protective eclipse glasses covering the lens, and I'm pretty chuffed with the results!

What an experience, and even better getting to share it with the CEO. ❤️🌒☀️

Who’s watching the solar eclipse tonight? 🌒☀️

For those of you who don’t know, not only do I love magic, but I love all things space too! 🚀🌌
So tonight is right up my street.

It’s due to be a pretty magical experience. 🎩✨

Tonight’s eclipse will see around 90 - 96% of the Sun covered across the UK, making it the best solar eclipse we’ve seen here since the famous eclipse of 1999 - 27 years ago!

And if you’re thinking, “I’ll just catch the next big one”... you might want to reconsider. 😳

The next total solar eclipse visible from the UK isn’t until 2090 - 64 years from now! There will be other partial eclipses before then, but tonight is about as close to total as we’re getting for a very long time.

With the sun absolutely blazing today, I’ll definitely be outside looking skyward tonight. 😎☀️

Definitely worth looking up for this one! 🌒

I thought I was looking pretty sharp until she came out with pink braids, butterflies and enough accessories to open her own branch of Claire's.

You guys usually get to see the professional side of Magic Steve... the gigs, the reactions, the photos and the highlights.

But here's a little bit of the personal side.

The CEO and I have just enjoyed a well-earned break together, covering 1,012 miles in just over a week. 🚗

I got to share some of the places I loved visiting as a child with her, we made some fantastic new memories together, and I even managed to squeeze in my first ever gig in Scotland. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

While the CEO was off enjoying some quality time with Grandpa and Nana, I also got a rare bit of time to myself. A coffee, a deck of cards, a bit of practice, and just a chance to slow down for a while.

Now it's time to unpack, get back to reality, and start looking forward to the next adventure.

Thanks for following the journey. I know most of you are here for the magic, but every now and then it's nice to share the people behind it too. ❤️🎩

They say practice makes perfect.

While the CEO is off having fun with her Grandpa and Nana, I've been left to my own devices... so what better way to spend a bit of downtime than finding a great little café bar and putting in some card handling practice?

What people don't see is the countless hours behind the scenes. Every smooth shuffle, every clean flourish and every sleight has been repeated over and over again before it ever makes it into a live performance.

Even on holiday, you've got to make the time.
