Over the last couple of days I've been posting different logo concepts for Magic Steve, and the response has been incredible.

A huge thank you to everyone who's commented, voted, messaged me privately, and offered suggestions. It's also been brilliant hearing from people who've met me in person and taken the time to share honest feedback about what the Magic Steve brand should represent. ✨️🎩🪄

That's been invaluable.

The goal was never just to create a logo.

The goal was to create something that reflects the experience people have when they watch the magic.

✨ Bringing people together
✨ Creating moments people talk about long after the event
✨ Leaving people with stories they still can't explain

I don't think we've quite crossed the finish line yet, but I genuinely feel like we're getting very close now.

I've attached the latest logo concept, along with a few examples of how it could look across business cards, banners, clothing and other branding materials.

🎩 Logo Decision Time... Final Two! 🎩

After all the feedback yesterday (and more logo variations than I'd care to admit 😅), we've finally narrowed it down to two strong contenders.

I've included some T-shirt mockups so you can see how they'll look in the real world, but this logo won't just live on clothing...

It'll appear on social media, my website, business cards, banners, videos, quotes, invoices, and pretty much everywhere people come across Magic Steve.

So this is a big one.

I'm looking for the design that feels:

✨ Professional
✨ Memorable
✨ Timeless
✨ Unmistakably Magic Steve

This might not be the final decision just yet, but it definitely feels like we're getting closer. Every round of feedback seems to sharpen things up a little more.

🎩 I need your help!

Over the last few weeks, I've been putting some serious thought into the future of Magic Steve.

Magic is one thing...

But building a recognisable brand that works everywhere - weddings, festivals, corporate events, charity days and everything in between - is a whole different challenge.

A logo needs to look just as at home on a wedding welcome sign as it does on a festival banner, business card, polo shirt, social media post, or whatever crazy idea I come up with next.

So I've been experimenting with a few logo concepts and thought I'd bring you all into the process.

After all, you're the people who see the posts, book the gigs, recommend me to friends, and have helped this little venture grow far beyond what I ever imagined.

Amelia’s been away for a few days… and I’ve realised something important. 🎩😂

Every magician needs an assistant.

Not the glamorous Vegas kind…
I mean the brutally honest kind.

The one who:
Immediately spots the weak part of the trick.
Asks the awkward questions spectators would never ask.
Accidentally exposes your setup without even trying.
Then somehow still becomes your biggest fan five minutes later. 🫶

I’ve had loads of new magic ideas while she’s been gone…
but it’s weird not having my tiny creative director around to test them on.

That said… seeing her off having adventures, making memories, growing up and enjoying her own journey is pretty special too. ❤️

I suppose that’s one of the strange parts of parenting.
You miss them when they’re gone…
while also being incredibly happy they’re out there living life.

But I can’t lie…
the house does feel a little emptier without her in it. ✨

This Saturday I’ll be performing magic at The White Horse FC Charity Day in Gosport! 🎩✨️

I’ll be roaming around between 2PM–4PM showing close-up magic, mind reading, sleight of hand, and generally causing confusion in the best possible way 👀😂

What a weekend. 🎩✨️

Three days at The Big Eat festival in Royal Victoria Country Park, thousands of people, loads of amazing conversations, plenty of laughs… and one overheated magician in flowery shirts trying not to melt in the sunshine. ☀️😂

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who stopped to watch some magic, said hello, reacted like their brain had just blue screened, or came back to find me again the next day!

And an even bigger welcome to all the new followers on the page. Honestly means a lot. 🫶

Seeing complete strangers gather round, laugh together, and completely forget the outside world for a few minutes is exactly why I love doing this.

Now if anyone needs me, I’ll be spending the next 48 hours recovering while finding playing cards in random pockets around the house. 🎩🃏

UK heatwave + close-up magic is a dangerous combination. 🎩☀️

Because while everyone else is worrying about sausages burning at the BBQ…

I’m out here dressed like a confused wedding guest because magicians apparently need approximately 47 pockets at all times.

“Why’s he wearing a suit jacket in this heat?”

Because Susan…
you can’t exactly hide miracles in cargo shorts. ✨

Inside this jacket is:
🔥 playing cards
🔥 coins hotter than the surface of the sun
🔥 mystery objects
🔥 3 Sharpies
🔥 receipts from 2022
🔥 and at least one thing even I can’t identify anymore

At this point, my deck of cards isn’t shuffled…
it’s medium rare.

If you see a slightly sweaty bloke making your pint disappear this summer…
don’t panic.

That’s not dehydration.
That’s just Magic Steve trying to survive whilst casually violating the laws of physics in 24 degrees. 🥵✨️

Still though…
there’s something brilliant about summer events.

Cold drinks.
Good food.
Music playing.
People laughing.
And a magician wandering around melting gently into the background while blowing minds table by table.

I’ll be frying brains. 🤯

They’ll be serving burgers, tacos and loaded fries…
I’ll be serving confusion, impossible moments, and the occasional full system reboot. 😂

Warning: Side effects of watching the magician may include:
• staring into space afterwards
• loudly shouting “HOW?!”
• checking sleeves for hidden sandwiches
• and questioning reality while holding a churro.

Great food. Great music. Great atmosphere.
And one slightly suspicious bloke wandering around bending minds between bites. 🎩

Ever noticed how people don’t remember every trick… but they DO remember how magic made them feel? 🎩✨️

The best magic lifts people up.
It creates stories people retell for weeks.
Moments families laugh about on the drive home.
That feeling of:
“I genuinely STILL can’t work out what happened…”

And honestly, that’s one of my favourite parts of being a magician.

I’ve bumped into people days, weeks, sometimes even months after an event…
and they’ll still bring up that one moment that’s been stuck in their head ever since.

“Right… but HOW?”
“I’ve thought about that so many times!”
“That still annoys me in the best possible way!” 😂

Not because they felt fooled.
Because they experienced something memorable.

Something that interrupted normal life for a moment.

To me, that’s the difference between performing AT people…
and creating an experience WITH people.

Good magic doesn’t make people feel stupid.

It makes people feel wonder.
Curiosity.
Excitement.
Like a kid again for a few seconds.

And maybe that’s why magic has survived for generations.

Because no matter how old we get…
part of us still wants to believe the impossible might exist somewhere. 🫶

So now I’m curious…

The laughter.

For a few minutes, none of the outside noise matters.
