Job Opportunity: Children’s Party Host – Celebration City, Gosport
Location: Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport
Hours:
- Fridays: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm (on a rota basis)
- Saturdays: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm (on a rota basis)
- Sundays: 10:00 am – 4:30 pm (on a rota basis)

Celebration City is Gosport’s newest children’s party venue, located in the beautiful Royal Clarence Marina. We specialise in creating magical and unforgettable themed party experiences for families. From toddlers to teens (ages 2–15), our parties are packed with imagination, fun, and energy – with themes like princesses, superheroes, neon discos, karaoke, and foam parties.
We are now looking for outgoing, confident, and reliable Party Hosts (strictly over 21) with management experience to join our team and help us deliver the ultimate celebration experience.
The Role
As a Celebration City Party Host, you’ll be the heartbeat of the party. You’ll use your energy, personality, and leadership skills to run engaging, well-organised events while keeping children entertained and parents reassured. Each party is hosted with a co-host, but as a senior party leader, you’ll set the tone, keep things on track, and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
• Set Up & Preparation: Get the venue ready, transforming it into a magical themed space.
• Warm Welcome: Meet and greet children and parents with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Entertainment & Hosting: Lead age-appropriate games, dances, activities, and challenges for children aged 2–15.
• Team Leadership: Use your management skills to keep events running smoothly, support your co-host, and problem-solve quickly if needed.
• Party Equipment: Operate and oversee the music system, projector, foam machine, candy floss machine, and other extras.
• Food & Treats: Distribute sweet cones, hotdogs, candy floss, and other goodies.
• Customer Care: Create a safe, happy, and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring parents feel at ease.
• Closing Duties: Tidy and reset the venue ready for the next celebration.
What We’re Looking For
• Strictly 21+ (applications from under-21s will not be considered).
• An outgoing personality with the confidence to entertain large groups of children.
• Previous management or supervisory experience – parties need strong leadership to run smoothly.
• A genuine love for working with children and young people.
• Reliability, punctuality, and responsibility.
• No direct entertainment experience needed – full training will be provided.
The Details
• Casual role with flexible weekend hours.
• Monthly rota system so you can work as much or as little as you’d like.
• Hours and opportunities will grow as the business expands.
• Pay will be discussed at interview.
