It’s peony season! We’ve been waiting forever, and with the warm weather this past week, they’ve finally shown their beautiful faces!

Order a bunch of beautiful artisan, British, Sarah Bernhardt pink and Madame Claude Tain white peonies. Only the best, grown in our British soil, cut at peak time. These can be collected Thursday to Sunday or delivered locally.

We will have these peonies available throughout the season, and will be including in our usual £15 weekly posy!

The longest day of the year deserves more than scrolling on the sofa.

There are just a handful of places left on our intimate Sunset Solstice Retreat on Saturday 20th June. four beautiful hours of restoration, growth, connection and nourishment as the sun sinks low in the meadow and summer begins to unfold.

Our wild strawberry wreaths are the sweetest little touch for your summer door 🍓🌿

Imagine coming home to the scent of wild strawberries, tumbling foliage and tiny fruits slowly ripening through the season, a wreath that changes beautifully with time.

Second picture is how the wreath will look once the strawberries begin to fruit - they’ll start ripening through June and fruit July, August and hopefully September. Right now they’re still growing, which makes watching them transform even more magical.

At Bloom + Folk, we care deeply about the makers behind the shelves, the ingredients behind the products, and the stories rooted in slow, thoughtful craftsmanship.

This week, we’re shining a light on Arboreal Soaps and their beautiful Arboreal Formula. Handcrafted with a generous superfat blend of deeply nourishing beef tallow, rich shea butter, soothing coconut oil and gentle grapeseed oil.

I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed recently. I think now the honeymoon period of opening the shop has worn off, the reality of going from a corporate salary to desperately hoping for a busy day just to pay the bills has really hit home. It’s exhausting.

This feels like the point where a lot of people probably give up. Where another little small business quietly closes its doors. But yesterday, watching my daughter’s face light up when she spotted me in the school hall, knowing I could be there to watch her receive her ‘Super Citizen’ certificate instead of sitting in another mind-numbing Teams meeting, gave me the boost I needed to keep going.

Nothing worth having is easy in the beginning, is it? I just need to ride the waves, keep pushing my little business, and remember why I made this jump in the first place. A slower, more meaningful life. More presence. More moments that matter.

So, if you’ve got this far, my little stable is open 10–4 today and I’d be so thrilled to see you 🥰
