The Courtyard (a registered charity and social enterprise) is a large former Victorian School in central Goole which was renovated during 1995/97 with grants totalling £1 million, opened November 1997, which provides 14 office spaces of varying sizes mainly for voluntary sector organisations with a range of p***c rooms available for hire. The 4 public rooms are extensively used by a variety of org
anisations for a wide variety of purposes. We have a Coffee Shop facility which is open daily serving delicious cakes and homemade food. most evenings, have our own carpark which is free to use, we are fully accessible with a lift to all floors and we can provide catering for most occasions.

UPCOMING ROOM HIRE AVAILABILITY!
We have upcoming availability from October onwards on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s! This room would suit exercise classes, children’s activities, dance groups etc. If you think you could make use of this space please feel free to call us on 01405837100.

We have seen several posts this morning regarding power cuts in our local area! ⚠️
We’d like to let everyone know that we are open as usual, with power, heating and refreshments available for those who need somewhere safe and warm to spend the afternoon, we’re open until 17:00 this evening. We also have toys and a play area for children, you’re all more than welcome to pop in, completely free of charge ❤️

The Courtyard was a Victorian School. It was rescued by the community from potential demolition and, fully renovated, was re-opened in November 1997. Local people raised over £1 Million to create the provision we now enjoy.
The Courtyard, an independent charity, is managed by a board of Trustees, employs a staff team and is supported by volunteers. Situated in the centre of Goole, The Courtyard offers a range of services and facilities to meet the needs of business and the community.
From business meetings, training and conferences to community and family events we can cater for a wide range of occasions individually designed to meet your specific requirements. Whatever your occasion we can cater for you from teas, coffees and cold drinks to home-made finger buffets. We will work with you to meet your catering needs. The Courtyard prides itself on the quality and variety of catering we have to offer. We are proud to have achieved a level ‘5’ hygiene rating.
The Courtyard also offers a variety of different classes from the very successful Computer Club run by one of our fantastic groups of volunteers, helping people develop their Computer skills to our Parent and Toddler group – a safe, fun environment for your child to play, learn and socialise with other children. We run a bi-monthly Community Market and also a Street Food event through the Summer months which is a great way to socialise and enjoy something new – it would be great to see you there!
