📣 An official announcement from Schmooze HQ…
Our singer Sash has only gone and been named Best Wedding Singer in the UK in a wedding blog 🏆🎤
Are we surprised? Obviously not.
Will we now be referring to her exclusively as multiple award-winning vocalist Sash in all internal correspondence? Probably.
Has she become unbearable? We’ll keep you posted. 😂
Joking aside, it’s a lovely little nod to someone who puts a LOT into what she does.
These photos show the good bits, the dresses, the stages, the gorgeous venues, the parties, the people and the general razzle dazzle ✨
What they don’t show is Sash answering emails in her pyjamas, learning first dances at the eleventh hour, attempting to Tetris the setup into the boot of the van, DJ Krissi having to deal with another last minute set change, eating service-station dinners, begging bar staff for a cuppa, navigating illnesses, changing in toilets and spending an unreasonable percentage of her life on the M1.
Showbusiness, baby. 💅
We know how much work goes on behind every performance and how much Sash genuinely cares about making every wedding and event bloody brilliant, so we’re very happy to see her getting a little recognition for it.
Anyway, enough praise. She’s got a gig to get to.
