hinchingbrooke House and Gardens this morning. We’re open today until 4pm open on behalf of of the NGS

This Sunday 7th June , we are supporting the National Garden Scheme and opening the gardens at Hinchingbrooke House from 11am -4pm. [[Entry is £5 and these proceeds go to NGS charities. We are also offering guided tours of the House, at £5 and this tour money will go towards further renovation of the Gardens.]] Refreshments are available in the cafe or you can bring your own picnic, and there will be plants on sale also. Children are free, plenty of free parking on the school carpark. Sorry no dogs.. Please be aware that there is uneven ground throughout the Gardens and wheelchair accessibility is limited due to gravel paths.

The rose garden this evening is really beginning to burst into bloom -but the photos really don’t do it justice! This is teamwork at its best, We’ve all had a hand in planting new roses, staking, digging manure in, pruning and feeding. Tidying up the borders, cutting back hedging, and gravelling! Thank you everyone! There are 66 roses in this garden - so just a small selection here!
