The best compliment at a party? When people are STILL talking about it weeks later💗

For me, creating food for an event is about so much more than what ends up on the plate.

It’s the excitement, the atmosphere, the conversations around the grazing table and those little moments that make a celebration feel extra special.

Whether it’s a birthday party, private celebration or corporate event, I love creating bespoke catering and food styling that becomes part of the memories.

Because the food will get eaten, but the experience? That’s what I want people to take home✨

Every grazing table has the same cast of characters 😂
The one guarding it for photos.
The one picking before anyone’s officially started.
The one building a plate with zero structural integrity.
The “I’m not hungry” guest somehow on round five.
And my personal favourite… the one asking “WHO did the food?” 👀

Honestly, half the fun of creating a grazing table is watching what happens once the guests get near it (and of course enjoy it ;) )

People start experiencing the food before they’ve even picked up a plate 👀
It’s the colour, the height, the styling, the smell, the little details that make everyone stop, point things out and immediately reach for their phone.

Of course the food has to taste amazing, but I want that first reaction to happen before the first bite.

Because if your guests are already talking about the table before they’ve tasted anything, you’ve created more than catering. You’ve created a moment✨

until it’s suddenly 6:45pm and you’re chopping, plating, texting the group chat and wondering why nobody owns a serving bowl 😅

Food is one of those things that looks easy on the planning list, but on the day it can completely take over.
And if you’re hosting, you should actually get to be at the party, not disappear into the kitchen every ten minutes.

Picture an evening surrounded by some of the most beautiful florals in Montpelllier Cheltenham, a specially curated food table waiting for you, and two hours to get creative as you’re guided through a painting workshop.
And before you panic… you absolutely do not need to be good at painting.

Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. This is about putting your phone down, stepping away from the everyday, spending time with your favourite people and, quite simply, having a bloody good time.

A Coachella themed 30th deserved more than standard party food 🪩✨

For Ellie’s birthday, everything was created around the theme, from the menu and dessert platter to the colours, styling and little details that tied the whole setup together.

The best part? Ellie could actually enjoy her own party knowing the food was completely taken care of.

That’s exactly what I want Bespoke by J to feel like. You bring the idea, the occasion and the vibe, and I’ll turn it into food and styling that feels like it was made for your event.

This is the bit people don’t always see ✨

A table like this can take HOURS before the food even comes into it.

It’s the ribbons, the flowers, the little props, the way everything is placed and layered… all those tiny details that turn a table from “nice” into something that feels really special.

That extra time is what helps the whole event feel more considered, more styled and more memorable. But that extra time is also where you could be spending it getting ready, prepping yourself for your event, or simply chilling out!!

Don't underestimate the time it takes to make it look amazing. Leave the prep and the magic to me💗

Basically, you’re a trendsetter?! 🤷🏼‍♀️👏🏼

Pinterest is so amazing for getting inspiration for your next event, birthday, party, celebration, whatever it is.. but sometimes what you’re looking for, simply doesn’t exist… YET👀

You can spend hours and hours trying to perfect an idea, only for it to turn into an “instagram vs. Reality” moment once you open the doors to your event😬

When you’re hosting the party of the year, the last thing you want people talking about afterwards is how they left hungry and went to McDonald’s on their way home🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂

Food should NOT be an afterthought, and if you’re looking for a show stopping event, then it requires a show stopping spread, that becomes part of your event.

So.. if you’re hosting a party, event, celebration… whether it’s a birthday, a baby shower, a hen do… anything that requires you tobfeed (and impress😉) your guests, then look no further..

The colours, the styling, the food, the little details people notice without even realising they’ve noticed them. That’s the bit I love.

I don’t want the catering to feel like something that’s been added on at the end. I want it to feel like it belongs in the room and helps set the tone for the whole event.

Whether you’re planning a private party, celebration or special event in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire or the Cotswolds, the food should feel just as considered as everything else.
