Candid, Natural, Storytelling Photography - Wedding & Events Photography in the Cotswolds and Surrou I approach all photography with this mindset. So hi!

Truly great photography is about letting your subject's personality shine through. It's capturing those magical split-second moments so they can be shared with the world and cherished forever. My role is to capture the essence of what makes you - 'you'. Whether it's a wedding day, birthday, christening or family & pets shoot, your photos will be natural, beautiful, creative but above all else shin

ing with your personality. My name is Phil Loadwick and I am a wedding & events photographer covering The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Over the years I have seen many jaded photographers that have shot the same venue that many times that it becomes a disconnected robotic procedure to them, just ticking off a set routine to churn out yet another generic wedding day set of photos. I vowed never to become like this. My shooting ethos is ‘every person is a unique individual with unique quirks, facial expressions and personality traits’. This means I approach every wedding as it should be, a totally unique day. My sole job is to capture what makes you and your day special, to record the magic of this day for you to treasure for the rest of your lives. As a storytelling photographer, I move quietly around your venues capturing the smiles, tears and laughter that accompany your day. I do my utmost to document every last moment of your wedding day as every photo tells a story. We of course do the traditional group shots but I aim to keep this time to a minimum so that your guests don’t get bored and you have more time to enjoy this amazing day. We later sneak off, usually around sunset, to capture some beautiful romantic shots of just the two of you. I offer an extensive range of packages which can be viewed here:

A huge congratulations to Jade & Jake on their absolutely beautiful wedding at the stunning Stonehouse Court! It was such a joy and privilege to capture their special day and from beginning to end the whole wedding was just perfect.

Always a pleasure to be back at with its beautiful gardens and grounds and the canal just on the other side of the wall. Big shout out to Sophie and the entire Stonehouse Court team for ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the day.

The bride and her bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning, thanks to the super talented Jess () and Danielle () who did the hair and makeup. It was fantastic seeing Darren () again, his magic is absolutely out out this world and had everybody utterly astounded. The garden games by .cart were amazing and kept everyone entertained throughout the day. Delicious pizzas in the evening from .hualien and were definitely a big favourite amongst the guests.

An absolute scorcher of a day for the wedding of Zoe & Steve at the stunning Manor by the Lake. From the picturesque outdoor ceremony to the incredibly heartfelt and emotional speeches through to an evening full of fun and dancing, the whole day was perfect.

It was fantastic being back at Manor by the Lake with its gorgeous grounds, amazing food and wonderful fantastic staff! A big shout out to Rebecca, Katie and the whole team at , who kept everything running perfectly. ❤️

What an absolute scorcher of a wedding day for Zoe & Rob over the bank holiday weekend, summer has definitely arrived now at last! From the beautiful church ceremony at St John the Baptist in Tredington conducted by the incredibly lovely Revd Canon Kay Mundy to the fun filled reception on the family farm complete with tractor rides, water fights and encounters with cows and goats, the whole day was just perfect.

Zoe and her bridesmaids looked beautiful thanks to the super talented Sophie and Isabella who did the gorgeous hair and makeup. The food by was absolutely amazing and the cake by looked and tasted out of this world, always handy to have a pastry chef in the family! The music and games by Ash were fantastic and kept everyone entertained throughout the day and dancing into the evening. And last but certainly not least, it was brilliant working alongside Dan from the whole day, can't wait to see his video!

Such a wonderful wedding day for Adrian & Caryn at the beautiful Yarlington Barn, the whole day was just perfect from beginning to end and even the rain didn't stop everyone having the best time celebrating. The ceremony was expertly led by Daphne & Paul, and being friends of the bride and groom made it ever more heartfelt.

It was lovely being at Yarlington Barn () with Mark, Kate and the whole team worked super hard to keep everything running like clockwork.

The bride and her bridesmaids looked incredible thanks to the super talented team of Clair and Val from who created the amazing makeup looks and hairstyles. A big shout out to the fantastic cake bakers Leanne and Lauren from who made such a wonderful cake which tasted incredible! The hog roast in the evening smelled and tasted out of this world, the team at provided all the guests with a delicious feast to end a simply wonderful day of celebrations. Great music from keeping everyone dancing all night long.

Massive congratulations to Katie & Claudia on their absolutely incredible wedding day at the stunning Llanthony Secunda Priory. The whole day was perfect from bridal prep on the stunning SULA Lightship (), ceremony in the beautiful Lady Margaret Hall, wonderfully heartfelt and funny speeches plus to top it all off it was wall to wall sunshine all day!

What an honour it was to capture Laura () & Bradley's () fantastic wedding day at the stunning Clearwell Castle. Even the rain couldn't put a dampener on everyone's spirits and the whole day was just perfect.

A huge congratulations to Connie & Jonny on their beautiful wedding day at the gorgeous Owlpen Manor. The whole day was just perfect, a beautiful ceremony in the church within the grounds, delicious food, heartfelt speeches and dancing into the night!

It was fantastic being back at the stunning Water's Edge at Ewen to capture the beautiful wedding of Sarah & Christian. From the heartfelt ceremony to the lively dancing in the evening, the whole day was just perfect, topped off by such lovely spring weather.

Will, Alex and the whole team kept everything running smoothly allowing Sarah & Christian to have the perfect day.
