Candid, Natural, Storytelling Photography - Wedding & Events Photography in the Cotswolds and Surrou I approach all photography with this mindset. So hi!

Truly great photography is about letting your subject's personality shine through. It's capturing those magical split-second moments so they can be shared with the world and cherished forever. My role is to capture the essence of what makes you - 'you'. Whether it's a wedding day, birthday, christening or family & pets shoot, your photos will be natural, beautiful, creative but above all else shin

ing with your personality. My name is Phil Loadwick and I am a wedding & events photographer covering The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Over the years I have seen many jaded photographers that have shot the same venue that many times that it becomes a disconnected robotic procedure to them, just ticking off a set routine to churn out yet another generic wedding day set of photos. I vowed never to become like this. My shooting ethos is ‘every person is a unique individual with unique quirks, facial expressions and personality traits’. This means I approach every wedding as it should be, a totally unique day. My sole job is to capture what makes you and your day special, to record the magic of this day for you to treasure for the rest of your lives. As a storytelling photographer, I move quietly around your venues capturing the smiles, tears and laughter that accompany your day. I do my utmost to document every last moment of your wedding day as every photo tells a story. We of course do the traditional group shots but I aim to keep this time to a minimum so that your guests don’t get bored and you have more time to enjoy this amazing day. We later sneak off, usually around sunset, to capture some beautiful romantic shots of just the two of you. I offer an extensive range of packages which can be viewed here:

What a beautiful wedding day for Jasmine & Tom at the amazing Hatherley Manor. The whole day was just perfect, a beautiful outside ceremony in the walled garden, amazing saxophone music giving great Ibiza summer party vibes and really heartfelt speeches from the bride's mum, sister and Tom () followed by a hilarious roasting from the best man!

Hatherley Manor looked lovely as always and it was great to be back working with Martha and the team at who made sure the day ran perfectly.

Jasmine () and her bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful thanks to the incredibly talented duo Poppy () who did the stunning hair styles and Meila () who did the beautiful makeup. It was great working with Meg () as the content creater from , I can't wait to see what she captured from the day! The amazing saxophone music throughout the day was provided by .

A huge congratulations to Selena & Robin on their beautiful wedding day at the gorgeous Owlpen Manor. The whole day was just perfect, a beautiful ceremony outside on the top lawn, delicious food, heartfelt speeches and dancing into the night!

Owlpen Manor is an absolutely stunning venue for a wedding with its gorgeous grounds and fantastic staff. It was great to work with Tash, Bella and the whole team at , who kept everything running perfectly.

Selena (.foxred) and her bridesmaids looked beautiful thanks to the incredibly talented Maxine () who did all the stunning hair and makeup. The food by was absolutely delicious, relaxing steel drum music was provided by throughout the drinks reception and DJ Caroline Gunn of Cosmic Disco Productions had everyone up on their feet dancing all night with so many amazing tunes!

A massive congratulations to Hannah & Kevin on their incredible wedding at the beautiful Eastington Park. The whole day was perfect, Hannah () looked stunning, the speeches were hilarious with just the right amount of embarrassment and Olivia & Leanne from created the perfect vibe for the day with their exquisite singing.

Eastington Park looked amazing as always with its gorgeous grounds, fantastic food and brilliant staff! It was great to be back working with Kathryn and the whole team at , who kept everything running perfectly. ❤️

The floral arrangements by were so elegant and perfectly complemented Eastington Park. The cake by Carly () was absolutely incredible and tasted out of this world too. What a beautiful wedding day for Marian () & Chris () starting with a heartfelt church ceremony at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Exeter followed by a lovely reception at the gorgeous Sidmouth Harbour Hotel. It was an absolutely scorching day but it didn't stop anyone having a fantastic time!

The hotel looked beautiful in the sun, and being next to the beach was the perfect setting for a wedding! A big shout out to Charlotte and the whole team at , who kept the day running so smoothly. ❤️

The bride and her bridesmaids looked beautiful thanks to the incredibly talented Caroline () who created the perfect makeup looks and Naomi () who did the stunning hair styles. The exquisite violin solo by Kristina () throughout the church ceremony was absolutely out of this world, what an amazing talent! The wedding cake was made by none other than the bride herself which looked stunning and tasted absolutely delicious, well done Marian!

A massive congratulation to Penelope () & Robert () on their incredible wedding at the stunning Coombe Lodge. The whole day was perfect, Penelope looked mesmerising, the speeches went down a storm and everyone had such a fun day.

What an absolutely glorious day in the sunshine for the spectacular wedding of Kayla () & Oli () at the stunning Coombe Lodge. From the beautiful outdoor ceremony in the gorgeous grounds to the heartfelt (and hilarious!) speeches and a packed dancefloor in the evening, every moment was simply perfect. And of course, their adorable little girl Lily stole the show!

Still buzzing from April & Brett’s absolutely epic wedding day at the simply stunning Glewstone Court!

From the beautiful ceremony to the incredibly heartfelt speeches, the whole day was just perfect and no amount of rain could dampen anyone's spirits.

It was fantastic to be back at Glewstone Court () working alongside Charles, Sam and the whole amazing team again. The food, as always, was out of this world!

Big shout out to the hugely talented Mica & Amy from for the bridal party's hair and make-up.

Massive congratulations to Vicki & Mike on their absolutely incredible wedding day at the stunning Elmhay Park ()! 💍🌿

You guys were a dream to capture and their beautiful dog Obi stole the show with his puppy enthusiasm. 🐾 Huge thanks to all their friends and family for being so warm and welcoming, it was an absolute joy to capture.

The ceremony, led by the amazing Sara Cu***ng (), was deeply personal and moving, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. 🎤💞 The magical harp music by the super-talented Katie () created the perfect atmosphere throughout the ceremony and into the drinks reception.

And let’s talk about that cake, an absolute showstopper by The Cake Architect () that tasted just as good as it looked! 🍰👏

Still buzzing from Hollie & Harry’s absolutely epic wedding day! From the stunning ceremony at Gloucester Cathedral ( ) to the amazing food and celebrations at Over Barn ( ), the whole day was just perfect.

The cake made by Hollie’s incredibly talented mum, looked like a work of art and tasted divine 🍰. Hollie & Harry were fantastic to work with and I completely fell in love with their gorgeous dog Merlin, who stole the show. 🐾 Thank you to all the friends and family who were so warm and welcoming, making it a joy to photograph.

Always a pleasure to shoot at Over Barn and brilliant to be back working with Josh and all the amazing staff there, and as always the food was sensational!
