Before You Book More 11+ Support… Pause and Think About Your Child’s Needs

It’s easy to feel like you should be doing more when preparing for the 7+, 8+, 11+ or 13+ exams.

More tuition. More resources. More mock exams.

But more isn’t always better.

Before booking additional 11+ support, it’s worth asking:

👉 What does my child actually need right now?

Every child preparing for grammar school or independent school entrance exams is different. The most effective preparation is targeted, not overloaded.

Take a moment to consider:
✔ Do they need help with specific topics (maths, English, VR, NVR)?
✔ Do they need more exam technique and timing practice?
✔ Would mock exams help build confidence in real conditions?
✔ Or do they simply need time to consolidate what they already know?

Adding more without clarity can:

Increase stress
Reduce confidence
Make progress harder to track

A calm, structured approach will always be more effective than reacting to pressure.
