2026 brides - your wedding day doesn’t need to be perfect to feel perfect.
One thing I’ve noticed after photographing so many weddings is that almost every couple has some kind of uncertainty before the big day. Whether it’s worrying about timelines running late, feeling awkward in front of the camera, the weather changing, family dynamics, or simply wondering if everything will come together the way you imagined - it’s all completely normal.
The truth is, the moments you’ll remember most usually aren’t the perfectly planned ones.
It’s your mum helping you into your outfit.
Your partner nervously smiling during the ceremony.
Your friends laughing during speeches.
That quiet moment together when everything finally sinks in.
My biggest advice? Don’t put too much pressure on yourselves to make the day look “perfect”. Focus more on how you want it to feel.
Choose suppliers you genuinely trust.
Leave breathing space in your timeline.
Be present with the people around you.
And remember - no one notices the little things the way couples think they do.
The best weddings are always the ones where people feel relaxed, connected and fully themselves.
And if being in front of the camera feels intimidating, don’t worry - most of my couples say the exact same thing before their wedding day. My approach is always natural, laid-back and gently guided so nothing ever feels forced.
At the end of it all, your wedding day is about the two of you and the people you love most. Everything else is just background noise.
2026 weddings - I honestly can’t wait for them ✨
