I've had a few 'punch in the face' messages lately, with regards to my pricing on cakes and buffets etc. And I really try to not let it get to me, but today I am a little defeated by it all.

Its just me, in the kitchen, I do admin, baking, cleaning, shopping everything.
I dont get sick pay, I dont get holiday pay, if I dont make the cake or I dont get an order, then I dont get paid, there isnt a company paying me if I dont do it, and its tough at times being self employed, I never know where the next order will come from, or if I'm quite, will I have enough money to buy food with, so all I ask is to just be kind or just dont say anything, I am human and I do have feelings

I was asked at the end of July if I could help out, as the boyfriend had been let down last night, by another baker. I get that more than you would think.
I was originally asked if I could make a helmet cake, but I couldn't, so I sent over some other inspirational photos and we agreed on this design and

I did make a special purchase for the birthday girl, of the helmet on top, just for something she could keep, it was a magnet, which I think was a great added extra

I have been told by the birthday girl, how much she loved it!

Ive had birthday cakes, wedding anniversary cakes, end of school gifts, weddings cakes, a buffet a pop up shop, lots going on this month and i've loved every minute.
