I am so excited.
I will get to meet the actors and cast members who come together for a reunion every year. This is their 43rd!

I remember how ‘fit’ Michael Praed was all those years ago, and how watching the series was so gripping.

Plans for my final Handfasting Wedding celebration of the year are almost complete.

💞 I met A&Z at Blackfriars Priory on Sunday morning to finalise their Handfasting Ceremony plans, ahead of their Wedding celebrations in a few weeks time.

💕Their day will start with the simplest and shortest legal marriage in the same magnificent hall. They are saving readings personal vow exchanges and ring exchange for their very personal and spiritual Handfasting.

💞 I can’t wait to see the planned decorations in this splendid hall. The Priory itself was founded in about 1239, and is one of the most complete surviving Dominican black friaries in England.

💕Oozing pagentry and history I quite see why this grounded and unconvenial couple chose to be Handfast in the ways of old, in the atmosphere of the ancient Priory.

‘ Tying the Knot’ of matrimony.

Debs and Phil joined me immediately following their legal marriage in Glastonbury Town Hall.
They arrived at Tribunal Hall where we had planned a Handfasting ceremony in the rear courtyard garden, together with family and friends.

[Registrars legally marry. Abiding by strict rules.
Celebrants create the wedding ceremony.
Personal and Bespoke.]

We then weave a ceremony together that reflects you both. You create the mood, theme,atmosphere I create the tone. 💞This gorgeous couple used their handfasting cords at the very start of the ceremony.
“Are you ready for a Wedding” … yes came the roar of voices from the gathered guests.

Let's Tye the knot of matrimony!
You’re heard the expression “tied the knot” or giving your hand in marriage”. Have you ever wondered where the saying comes from? And no it’s not the same category as “ball and chain!” It’s a reference to the ancient ritual of a Handfasting!”

💞Glenda:- guides the couple to place their hands on each other’s shoulders, while she passes the cords around their arms. They then slowly move away from each other holding tightly to the cord-end, in their hand.

This is how you do it! Tying the Knot of matrimony. Right at the start of your wedding celebration following a legal marriage.

💞 I finally pronounced them as husband and wife at the conclusion of the Handfasting Ceremony.

This blog by Fiona really captures the essence of Handfasting. She was a very dedicated student on one of my Masterclasses and has gone on to spread the word to couples sharing love, especially at Festivals.

I have finally sorted out a platform for my blogs and actually managed to get some words down:
