I’m honestly shocked, overwhelmed and so, so grateful! 🥹

15 years in this industry… and it all started back in 2010 with a wee business idea after losing my hero – my grandad. 💛 What began as something small to keep my mind busy has grown into something I could only have dreamed of.

From those early days to now winning Décor Hire Business of the Year, it still doesn’t feel real! 🏆

Our story

Wee Tait was founded in 2010, after Michelle’s granny and grandad encouraged and inspired her to take the leap and step out on her own.

We started out catering for special events, providing buffets and finger food for birthdays, weddings, and communions. Due to customer demand, we soon expanded into celebration cakes.

By 2011, we had opened a delicatessen and cake shop on Paisley Road West. But Michelle soon realised that this was taking her away from what she loved so much about the business - being a part of our customers’ special occasions.

So, the deli side of the business was wound up, and we entered the event decor industry.
