Unearthed a rare treasure today — “Riff Raff” by Alexander Goldscheider, a Czech composer and electronic music innovator who helped shape the sound of 20th-century Europe. 🎶

Released under Supraphon, this track captures the experimental spirit of early synthesizer music — bold, melodic, and deeply human. After moving from Prague to London, Goldscheider worked at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and later founded Romantic Robot, continuing to blur the lines between art, sound, and technology.

A true reminder of how Eastern European electronic music laid the groundwork for so much of today’s contemporary sound.

It’s been way too long — and to say I’ve missed it would be a HUGE understatement.

The days of spinning tunes in bars and holding down that Flat 0/1 residency (pre-covid era vibes 👀) might be behind me… but something tells me the best times are still ahead.
