✨ Meet Team Make Believe ✨

People often see the finished wedding. The dressed tables, glowing candles, beautiful backdrops, amazing arches and the big room reveal.

What you don't always see is the team behind the magic.

The early starts. The late night/over night pick ups. The heavy lifting. The problem solving. The long chats in the van. The last-minute, save the day fixes. The (endless) ironing. The 100 email backlog after a weekend of events. The attention to every tiny detail that makes each wedding complete.

Every member of Team Make Believe brings something special. As we celebrate 17 years of Make Believe Events, it felt like the perfect time to introduce the incredible people who help turn wedding dreams into reality.

They are the smiling faces behind the scenes, the calm in the chaos, and the reason we're able to deliver the level of service we're so proud of.

This is our Full Time Team of 7 that are here to set up your wedding all year round, but at the moment we have a team of 16 working each week through the summer months and busy wedding season! (But trying to get 7 of us all together for a pic was hard enough to coordinate!)

🎉 17 YEARS OF MAKE BELIEVE EVENTS 🎉

17 years ago today, we set up our very first wedding.

Back then, we had big dreams, a whole lot of determination and absolutely no idea where the journey would take us!

Since that first setup, we’ve been trusted with over 9500 weddings, thousands of happy tears, countless “WOW!” moments, multiple wedding awards and enough chair covers, candles and centrepieces to fill a small village.

We’ve seen trends come and go, weather every challenge the industry (and the world!) could throw at us, grown our incredible team and, most importantly, had the privilege of being part of so many beautiful love stories.

Every booking, every recommendation, every venue that welcomes us back, every supplier we’ve laughed alongside and every couple who chose us... thank you!

Here’s to where it all started... and to whatever magic the next chapter brings. 🥂✨
