Continuing with yesterday's Gold theme I thought I'd share another beautiful gold and white square open card design, this time for a gorgeous wedding in March. With bow and brooch detail, gold glitter and white pearl card these invites complimented the stunning Turnberrys wedding suites perfectly!

From our initial meeting at the showroom, we took Lisamaria & James's ideas and favourite elements to design an invite they loved.

I may as well finish May a little better with posting than how I started it 🙈 I honestly have every intention of being more active on social media each month and then boom the next month is here - how is it June this weekend!

Anyways, let's kick start some beautiful wedding posts with a wedding from the weekend. These gorgeous invites were created on request by our beautiful bride for a fairytale wedding at the stunning

White pearl open card invites with a mix of gold foil, white glitter and some statement white bows and brooches made these invites an amazing set to create and paired with pearlescent boxes they matched the decor and theme of the wedding perfectly.

Did you know Dollybird Stationery has it's very own showroom in Glasgow East?

This is were all new customers are invited too (before or after booking) for an initial consultation to discuss ideas, designs, numbers etc and then a full quote is sent after your meeting to confirm all the finer details.

I absolutely love meeting couples and their families at the showroom and one comment always made is just how much is on show (but I definitely believe more choice is better when it comes to picking your wedding stationery).

The designs on show act as a starting point for all designs made at HQ with so many of my happy couples opting for custom made designs or mixing and matching some of the many designs on show.

We work by appointment only at Dollybird just to ensure exclusivity at your appointment and full attention on you and your wedding! Our making studio is also separate so we aren't solely based at the showroom either.

If you're still looking for your wedding stationery for late 2025, 2026 or 2027 then please get in touch and we can check the diary for you for availability of your date.

With only 2 weddings per week booked in, our dates tend to fill up quite quickly and it's honestly the worst having to turn anyone anyway xx

Hello May!

With the blink of an eye we're into May and one of the busiest months as always 🥰 so many beautiful May weddings that I can't wait to share with you all!

It's a busy time at HQ so I'll be doing my best to stay on top of admin but if your enquiry is urgent please just drop a wee message or give us a call and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

And once again I'm going to attempt to be more active on social media 🤣 I know I promise this all the time but I do try in amongst everything else lol 🙈.

Happy 13th Birthday to DollyBird too!

13 years, 100s of weddings, multiple offices and many many memories!

Every day I am still thankful I get to do something I love, be part of such a beautiful industry and work alongside so many amazing suppliers! Over the years I have worked with the nicest couples and made so many more friends too and I can't thank you all enough for putting your trust in DollyBird and continuing to recommend us to your family and friends too!

You're all the best and can't believe its 13 years!

Another busy month ahead for DollyBird and also a busy month at home too with a very special little boys 1st birthday!

Kicking start the first weekend of the month with a fabulous wedding open day at the beautiful Ingliston Country Club tomorrow (a favourite of mine as it was my wedding venue too 🥰).

Well just like that we're into March and it already feels like Spring is here ❤️

I had a lovely wee day yesterday
talking all things weddings and catching up with some supplier friends too!

March is my birthday month and also a very busy one at DollyBird HQ with some beautiful weddings taking place as well as some gorgeous wedding and occasion invites beings issued too!

Today is also the last day to take advantage of my show offers (thanks so much to all the lovely couples who have secured their date the last week - I can't wait to work with you all!)

So as many of you know the last year I've been learning to juggle work alongside a little baby boy ❤️ and whilst it's been an absolute amazing year it's also been mental to say the least 🤣 with that in mind I've had to change some plans for this year and one of the changes (just for this year) is not taking a stand at my ever favourite this weekend. I feel very sad to be missing it but for now it's just a bit much to take on - between preparing, exhibiting and the admin it brings, coupled with the number of new couples that have booked since the new year it was just a step too much even for me!

With that being said I will be exhibiting at some more smaller shows (mainly 1 day shows), starting off on Saturday 1st March at Hamilton Racecourse.
