Last sunday we had a real treat having the Yacht Rock Crew in with the legendary David Paton . Couldn’t believe it!

David was in a band called Pilot who had hits in the 70’s such as “Magic” & “January”.
Magic is a classic tune. It was the theme song to Happy Gilmour for crying out loud! And the soundtrack to many peoples childhoods.
Selena Gomez slaughtered it, but has around 54Million hits with it on youtube alone, its even a footbal stadium chant. Its Magic.

Not only that David written, recorded and toured with Elton John, Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, Alan Parsons Project... the credits list is ridiculous... but whats even more extraordinary is the man himself. Never met a more humble person. Absolute Pleasure.
