At a very young age I used to be like any other young, free and single guy born and bred in the west end of Glasgow, where going to Sauchiehall Street every night felt like a full time job and a great way for me to socialize and meet new people, whilst admiring different music genres which were played in each bar or club. It was from there I started learning all forms of music from rock to pop,cha
rt and RnB and hip hop as well as building my knowledge of bhangra and bollywood since I can remember. Music was always around me at a young age and as years went by I found myself listening to a wide range of genres; from Bob Marley to UB40, Dr.Dre, Jay-Z, Punjabi mc and Craig David. More recent musical influences include; Adele, Rihanna, The Wanted and Drake just to name a few. In Bhangra music I find artist such as Bups Saggu and Honey Singh making an influential impact to the industry. In 2007 I independently promoted myself as a club and event organiser where I brought down well known asian dj/producers such as; Notorious Jatt and Tru Skool and Specialist at the Art Skool in town. Amongst other acts such as Aman Hayer, PBN and DCS performing memorable gigs in clubs like Destiny, Blo Night Club and Archaos. I believe the music knowledge i have is vast, more than most any other dj as i have the ability to mix bhangra / bollywood vibes to today's hits that are in the charts which makes me stand out from any other dj and making you hear remixes you've never heard beforeโฆ alternately if you're an 80โs man then i can stick to the plain and simple prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson or ABBA if that rocks your boat. My aim as a DJ is to promote memorable nights, play great music and to also promote my company. My objectives are to give the crowd a good night out which they can enjoy and take away a good experience having folk talk about the function the next day to their friends n family.
