⭐️ 2025 ⭐️
What a year, thank you everyone who came along to a show. Here’s a recap of the year for ya x
The year started with a headline in Aberdeen from Count the Days, with The Noise Club and (The) Braes on support in a near sold out Blue Lamp in Aberdeen.
A few weeks later (The) Braes took on Nice ‘n’ Sleazys for their “State of It All” Single Launch with Alesia and Allsorts on support.
In June (The) Braes headlined McChuills for the launch of their debut EP ‘missy and the black dog’ with The Squints and Lyrical Inc on support. This happened to be The Squints final gig, which was very bittersweet. This was the first gig I had put on that had sold out aswell. So proud of everyone who was involved that night.
In October, Alesia headlined 1990 with support from Lonely Daze and Discola.
Later in the month, we held a single launch for Arran Hopkins (me) in celebration for the release of Lost Soul, with the wonderful Joyful on support.
To cap the year off, we held the first ever Brave Souls event in Glasgow in aid of Tiny Changes, a night full of covers with stars of the Glasgow music scene. The night was supported by Braes and Joyful. In total we raised over £900 for Tiny Changes.
Over all, it’s been such an amazing year. Unsure how 2026 will top it. Thank you to all the bands I’ve worked with, venues we’ve held events in, and as previously mentioned everyone who has bought a ticket. It helps out more than you’ll know.
I’d like to personally thank the members of Braes, for being such amazing people to work with, I can’t wait to see what we can do in the new year.
Also a huge shout out to Arrosa Fee, who was so lovely enough to create almost all of the art used for the gig posters you’ve seen plastered across social media.
See you all in 2026 x
