Still recovering from a very busy week welcoming colleagues and artists from Austin, TX on their trip to the UK & Ireland.

Firstly they hit up then travelled up north to Greater Manchester to officiate our Sister City Partnership at

On Thursday I curated a GM & Austin artist music showcase held over at including and celebrating the greatness between the two cities! Wonderful food and drinks provided by &

On Friday we headed over to where I facilitated a Creative Roundtable with partners, stakeholders, creative businesses and artists to discuss tangible next steps and actions for the partnership and collaboration across the two cities.

Followed by venue visits to and
Ended with farewell drinks at .mcr

This partnership hasn’t happened overnight. It has been years I the making, through multiple visits to Austin, ongoing dialogue and a shared belief in the power of culture and creativity. I thoroughly enjoy leading on the on this side of the partnership.
