Last but certainty not least, our longest standing resident Doog West.

Doog West is a DJ and producer from Glasgow that loves all things house music. The passion for his deep sound stemmed from the dance floors of places like Sub Club and The Arches.
He hopes to continually push his production boundaries and bring his sound to dancefloors around the world. His summer is shaping up to be a belter gigs wise and musically, keep your eyes peeled for his 3 track EP releasing on April the 1st with . Expect all things house and disco with his set on Saturday 😎

We can’t wait to hear Doogs funky set as per usual this Saturday.

Tonight we welcome another new DJ to the Erudite line up for Saturday night: Kris Ewing

Kris, from Dumbarton, has been DJing and producing for 3 years now although 2 of those were through lockdown, he feels he missed out on some opportunities as he was just starting up but says “I’m back on attack and ready to deliver some heavy techno”.
Kris loves techno from labels such as Filth on Acid and Autektone and his inspiration includes artists such as Nico Moreno, DYEN and TRYM. He hopes to be releasing some of his own work in the near future to make his stamp on the techno world and says he hopes “to become a staple among the Erudite family” while having fun and doing what he loves along the way.

We look forward to welcoming Kris behind the decks this Saturday.

Today we are talking about a new member of the Erudite family, Adam Goldie.⁣
⁣
Adam started DJing at the start of the first lockdown and quickly started to gain a passion for DJing. Once lockdown had ended Adam got the opportunity to DJ in Glasgow nightclub Rumor where he now has a residency. Adam has now played in Nicos twice and many other clubs and bars in Glasgow. However, Adam never got the opportunity to show off the heavier side of his DJing. Adam has a passion for fast industrial and melodic techno which is the reason why he and three of his friends that share the same passion for fast heavy techno have created a DJ collective called Acquisition. On Friday 11th of March, Acquisition had their launch night, which was a sell out and was a great success. Adam is buzzing to show off his high energy style of mixing this Saturday at the Locale.⁣

This week we will be doing a post a day about our brilliant DJ’s on the line up for this Saturday. First up Gus Wardrop

Gus is a 20 year old DJ/Producer from Ayr. He has been mixing and producing for close to 4 years now. So far he has had 5 releases come out via .records on Spotify and other platforms. His influences for music come from artists like KAS:ST, Trym and Hans Zimmer, People that stand out and have their own unique sound. Gus has a huge passion for music and is constantly pushing himself out of his comfort zone to pursue his dream of music.

We look forward to welcoming Gus back behind the decks for us once more, this weekend.
