What a fabulous start to a weekend of all things yarn The Glasgow School of Yarn. The place is buzzing. Open until 5.00 today then 10 am until 5pm tomorrow. Some standby tickets available so come along even if you don’t have a ticket.

We are so looking forward to seeing you all on Monday for Mary Portas Glasgow book launch of I Shop, Therefore I Am at Trades Hall

Doors will open at 6pm and there will be an on-site bar provided by Soirée Bar wine bar. If you wish you can start your evening a little earlier as Soirée, which will be opening just for us, at 4pm for food and drink. Soirée is located just to the right of the entrance to Trades Hall.

Thank you so much to everyone who has pre-ordered their copy of the book. You will be able to collect your purchase at the event or grab a copy if you haven't yet.
The Bigglestones bookshop team will be on hand to answer any questions you have and the Trades Hall team will be able to assist anyone who has already told us about required mobility assistance.
Some answers to questions we have been asked already:
- Payments can be made by cash or card. We won't be able to accept NBT on the night.
- The event is expected to run until 9pm followed by signing.
- If for any reason you need to leave before you've had your book signed then please speak to one of our team who can make sure you can pick up your signed copy later.

Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11.

It is a day which truly changed the world forever and its impact is still felt today.

We take a moment to remember the lives lost, the families affected and the bravery of those who risked everything and ran towards danger to help others

We are so looking forward to this next weekend. The Hitching Post Bridal one-off sample sale is with us on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st from 10.00am until 4.00pm. They will have some amazing wedding dresses available and all £600.00 and under so definitely worth while coming along.

The Trades Hall team will be on hand for anyone wishing to see around the venue. There's no need to book unless you would like a 1-1 appointment to find out more about weddings at Trades Hall, in which case you should email [email protected] to reserve your time.
