Thanks again to everyone who very kindly donated their ticket money, we are pleased to announce we have donated £950 to Angelman UK and £950 to TheSAMsClub

A total of £1900 ticket money was raised thank you so much 🙌🏼

On top of that a very generous donation of £1000 was donated directly to Angelman UK from IMCA International Marine Contractors Association thank you so much to IMCA and to Chris from FQM Ltd and Angela at Aberdein Considine for arranging this very generous donation.

Total funds raised from the ball that wasn’t to be was a massive £2900

Thank you so much to each and everyone of you.

Date for the raffle and auction will be announced soon and funds received from this will be added to our total and be distributed between the two charities

So far we have £1850 of your ticket money donated! Thank you so much everyone who donated ticket money in exchange for raffles. We are still waiting to hear from some people if the want refunded or raffles then we can update the total.

We also have £1000 that was already donated directly to Angelman UK by a very generous donor IMCA International Marine Contractors Association this was arranged by FQM Ltd

So in total £2850 and hopefully more ticket money to go to that as well as from the auction.
We send you all your raffles and arrange a date to do the live raffle as well as the auction and hopefully get this figure up

Think everyone who has requested refunds has all been paid back now. Please let me know if you haven’t

CHARITY BALL INFO

Some people haven’t replied if they would like a refund or, the money to go direct to both charities in return for raffle tickets.
I can’t update a total for the charities until I hear back from you all, worried to give it to the charities then you come for a refund later down the road ha.

I need to put a cut off date and if I haven’t heard back by 17th February I will assume you don’t want a refund and will donate the money to the charities in your behalf and issue you with raffle tickets instead.

Most refunds have been paid now, if you haven’t received yours by end of business tomorrow please get in touch.

Thanks to everyone who have donated their tickets money, the charities will be extremely grateful as they need it more than ever. ❤️

CHARITY BALL REFUNDS

We still working our way through the refunds, we had so many to process, everyone who requested a refund and still not had one, it will be processed in the next few days. Thank you for your patience.

CHARITY BALL UPDATE

I want to thank all of you who have very kindly donated their ticket money to the raffle.... I am working through all the raffles at the moment and will send pictures of your raffle tickets to you all via message/email.

Everyone who has requested a refund this will be with you by the end of the month.

We still haven’t heard back from a number of you, so if you can please get in touch to either request a refund or if you wish to have raffles instead please do so as soon as possible to allow us to allocate the remaining monies to the charities.

❌ CHARITY BALL CANCELLED ❌

We were holding out hoping things would get better and we could still have the ball 28th March. I think its become more apparent that it’s highly unlikely to go ahead, we have made the difficult decision and unfortunately that’s to cancel the ball.

Angelman UK and TheSAMsClub need our support more than ever, so we have decided to do an online raffle and auction with all the amazing prizes we have to try raise some funds for them.

If you would like to transfer your ticket money to donate to the charity or to purchase raffles it would greatly be appreciated, however we know times are difficult for everyone and if you would like to request a refund please get in touch.

To request a refund please email us, do NOT mail the page as we can’t access the mailbox at the moment.

Please ensure you advise of the payment method you paid in order to speed up the process.

CHARITY BALL INFO

With the current guidelines not looking to change for large events any time soon, we have made the decision to postpone the charity ball to Saturday 27th March.

All tickets and any raffle tickets have automatically been transferred to this date.

IF ANYONE REALLY CANT MAKE 27th MARCH AND WOULD LIKE A REFUND PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME.

PLEASE BARE IN MIND THIS IS FOR CHARITY AND MOST OF THE MONEY IS TIED UP WITH VENUE/ENTERTAINMENT ETC

IF YOU ARE IN A POSITION NOT TO REQUEST A REFUND TODAY AND HAPPY TO WAIT TO SEE IF THE EVENT GOES AHEAD THATS AMAZING!

Should things need to be cancelled again we will just cancel the ball all together and refund all ticket money.

We will then just have an online raffle and auction so we can still raise some funds for Angelman UK and TheSAMsClub. We hope it doesn’t come to that but with these uncertain times we can’t be sure.

You may have noticed I have been a little quiet of late, here’s why!

I have been involved with numerous charities over the 10 years, from volunteering, hosting events such as charity balls, race nights, coffee mornings etc

Years ago when I had my own catering and events company, I donated catering services to a couple who were getting married urgently as the bride was terminally ill.
This got me thinking.... I wanted to involved with a charity that helped terminally ill people get married, having done some research there wasn’t one I could find in the whole of Scotland. I vowed one day I would create one!

That day has come....

Introducing you all to Wishing Well Weddings a new non profit organisation run by volunteers. We organise and fund weddings for terminally ill people, this service is available in Renfrewshire and Glasgow areas.

This would not be possible with the the help and support of our treasurer Lauren and Secretary Angela
Of course my husband John for all his input, support and just putting up with me getting this up and running.

We have a whole list of amazing wedding industry suppliers and volunteers ready to help make this possible.
