Following an unexpected period of closure due to the fire on Union St, The Wonder Room reopened last Friday evening and we’re delighted to announce dates for future performances.

For the past two and a half years, we’ve sold out every Friday evening in our little purpose designed close-up magic theatre within the hotel and welcomed audiences from all over the world.

The show is currently ranked Number 1 on Tripadvisors ‘Theatre and Concerts’ section for Glasgow and won their prestigious ‘Travellers Choice Award’ in 2025.

The show has been selling out up to 6 months in advance but with the recent closure and uncertainty over reopening dates, we now have tickets on sale right up to early October.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and patience from attendees as we dealt with the abrupt closure and ongoing uncertainty of reopening dates.

Due to the devastating fire in Union St and the ongoing work to assess the damage, voco Grand Central Hotel is closed until further notice.

Unfortunately, this means we are currently unable to host The Wonder Room and need to cancel upcoming shows on the dates below.

13th March / 20th March / 27th March

Full refunds will be issued via Eventbrite and attendees will be notified by email once this has been processed.

Thanks again for all the support and hopefully we'll be able to welcome guests back at the show very soon.

As you may have seen, GoFundMe pages have been set up for businesses directly impacted by the fire, all of whom no longer have premises and have lost everything.

If you would like to donate to support these small businesses, GoFundMe have set up a page which shows all the affected business and how you can support them.

CHARITY AUCTION

I’m auctioning off a private show at The Wonder Room to raise funds for Kyleen’s friend who is bravely battling cancer.

Her family are raising money for treatment to prolong her life and give her as much time as possible with her three young girls.

- the auction is blind, meaning people can’t see what the highest bid is.
- prize is a private show for up to 22 people in The Wonder Room in voco Grand Central Hotel.

- if we have two matching bids, we’ll give away two prizes
