The headpiece I made as a thank you for my consultant ♥️

A perfectly blocked button, covered in a soft, midnight blue viscose velvet.

It's difficult to capture how beautiful this colour is, or how luscious the texture of this velvet is.

It's been a joy to make (all the more so because I've not been bent over in pain all day, every day).

As always, everything is handstitched by me in my little studio.

It's raining un Glasgow today, and a little bit colder than it's been too.

I've loved seeing all the clothes for autumn starting to appear in the shops. Here's my little contribution to that vibe in vintage-toned gold, bronze, brown, ch*****ne and a little bit of copper.

I'm about to start work on my next commission, in some beautiful burgundy tones.

There are so many ways to make your bridal jewellery and accessories reflect who you are and what you love ❤️

Beautiful Gioia Mia bride Joanne picked a classic, elegant tiara to complete her look ❤️

It was made with large, clear (and incredibly sparkly) Swarovski crystals, and framed with perfectly round white Swarovski pearls.

Is it too early to be thinking about autumn?

Asymmetric headband in muted gold-tone.

Beautifully subdued gold-tone leaves, Swarovski pearls in bronze, glass rhinestone in ch*****ne, and glass beads in bronze and opaque pale peach, all wound together with copper wire.

Designed and made by me, in my little sparkle-filled studio ❤️

A beautifully delicate, silver-toned leaf and floral headband. Some small Swarovski pearls for contrast, and a smattering of clear crystal rhinestones to catch the light as you move.

A quiet few days: turned the hand-beaded satin into the lining of a hat. Made the hat, covered it in some beautiful midnight blue velvet.

The last stage is pinning, then sewing my label in.

This is a gift for my consultant. She gave me my life back ♥️

Ahhhhh...so lovely to be doing a little bit of stitching again ♥️

It's been almost three months since my surgery and since I've been able to do anything like this.

I started with some midnight blue satin and a handful of different sequins, bugle beads, seeds beads, and tiny faceted glass beads in different shades of blue.

It was amazing being completely engrossed in something again. And not being constantly in pain (as I have been, every day for the past 18 months) made it even more special.

I can hopefully do some more on this again soon!

Another view of one of my latest makes.

Delicate gold-tone leaves, rich ab crystal rhinestones, and perfectly round pearls in soft white.

This is a classic tiara shape, and even though it's quite dainty, it's very eye catching ❤️
