New music released here on 23rd Precinct! ‘Flight’ by Bruce Glenny featuring Beth Caldow is all yours 🌅

“Flight” was produced with the melody leading every decision from the very first session. Inspired by the emotive, melodic progressivism of Fred Again - an artist who treats music as a diary as much as a dancefloor tool - Bruce set out to create something that felt alive from the inside out” ✈️

Beth adds: “When I heard it, the lyrics & melody came flowing out. I had this vivid image of standing frozen on a curb, watching the taillights of someone I loved fading into the distance. The
heavy silence of being left behind, while the rest of the world keeps moving. Despite the emotional weight of the lyrics, the track pulses with a driving club beat. I wanted to lean into that contrast. It’s an anthem for that specific human impulse: What do you do when your heart is breaking? You dance it off” ☀️

It’s release day on 23rd Precinct! ‘Thistle in the Glen’ by Levi Heron & Kieran MacCormick is all yours 🚀

Comprised of blending cèlidh and techno to form Levi’s unique ‘cèil-tech’ sound, this track features an accordion part created by Kieran. Levi took it from there and resulted in this belter tune! 🪗

NEW MUSIC ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨🤝

23rd Precinct are buzzing to announce our first new release on the label ‘Thistle In The Glen’ by Levi Heron featuring Kieran Maccormick will be dropping on Wednesday 22nd April 🚀

Levi develops his self-proclaimed unique style of ‘Cèil-tech’ (a mixture of Ceilidh and Techno) here with us on 23rd Precinct in this belter of a track. His debut solo release ‘The Rammy’ kicked things off for this unique fusion of sound, which has now amassed over 2.3 million streams in just over a year 💪

Levi comments on the new track, and how it came about teaming up with musician Kieran Maccormick: “It was one of my pals, Kieran, that wrote the accordion part, I hit him up and asked if he had any ideas for a tune I could use and he sent me back a Snapchat video of a 16 bar melody on the accordion and I was able to make the full song just from that wee video! Once I had the full tune we got him to re-record the part, it’s really like a cèlidh track but with my own hard-hitting twist on it - what I like to call cèil-tech”. 🪗
