✨ Sound walk and dook, inspiring Scottish-made films, and discussion with local outdoor photographer and adventurer Dan Milner! 📸

The Scottish Outdoor and Adventure Film Tour is coming to Skye at An Crùbh on the 22nd of April. We’re keen to get the community together and celebrate the penultimate Scotland screening of 2026 with a Derrida sound walk and Dook in the sea before regrouping at the venue to watch some films together.

Walk and dook:
🎵 Jacques Derrida was a French philosopher famous for developing ‘Deconstruction’, a way of thinking that explores how meaning is always shifting - something we’ll play with during our sound walk by listening differently to the world around us.
🌅 Dook- a cold plunge in open (but safe) waters!
🌱 We’ll be encouraging creative engagement with the local landscape, placing our attention on the soundscapes, plants and animals that occupy it while meeting other outdoor adventure enthusiasts within the community.
🎟️ This event is free-to-attend. Just turn up at Eilean Iarmain Hotel benches at 5pm.

Films and Q&A:

🍹 The venue will have a bar with drinks and snacks.
