Still smiling after Saturday’s beautiful wedding at Brig o’ Doon 💍✨

It was such a privilege to marry Katie & Daniel and tell the story of how they got to this moment — with their lovely daughter Poppy playing such a special part in the ceremony too ❤️

These are the moments that remind me why I absolutely love what I do. From the laughter and emotion during their story, to the little family moments throughout the ceremony… it was a day full of love, warmth and so much happiness.

And to top it all off, they surprised me with an amazing gift bag and this beautiful card 🥹 Honestly so thoughtful and appreciated.

Thank you again Katie & Daniel for letting me be part of such an important day in your lives. Wishing the three of you a lifetime of love, laughter and amazing memories together ❤️

🚨 HUGE NEWS 🚨

I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’ve been awarded...

🏆 Wedding Celebrant of the Year 2026/27 – Scotland

For a business that’s still growing, this means everything 🙌 Confetti Wedding Awards Finalist the past 2 years running... and now this. I have been trying to build something truly special — modern, personal, and completely centred around each couple’s story - and I'm so proud of what I have achieved so far.

The best part?

I genuinely love every second of what I do — getting to know couples, telling their story, and creating a ceremony that actually feels like them. I have had so many bookings from guests or family members that have attended a wedding I have been the celebrant for. That speaks volumes and I could not be more proud or grateful.

This is only the start… and I’m so excited for what’s ahead. 🚀

If you're planning your wedding and want a ceremony that’s relaxed, personal and unforgettable — I’d love to be part of it ❤️

📩 2026/27 and now 2028 bookings now open!

✨ Alexandria & Craig ✨

House for an Art Lover 💍

On Friday, I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Alexandria and Craig in the stunning surroundings of House for an Art Lover (in the sunshine!) — a ceremony full of warmth, laughter and meaningful moments. This wedding was one I had been looking forward to for a very long time.

Their ceremony included a beautiful handfasting, symbolising the promises they made to one another, followed by five things they love about each other — heartfelt, personal and guaranteed to raise a smile. We then shared their personal story, celebrating the journey that brought them to this moment.

They sealed their marriage in true Scottish style, sharing a drink from the quaich, using a 12-year-old Deanston whisky — a perfect symbol of unity, trust and the life they now share together.

Alexandria and Craig, thank you for trusting me to be part of such a special day. It was an honour to stand with you both. You were both amazing ❤️

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Vicky & Derek 🎊

Their wedding took place at home in East Kilbride — in their garden house and gazebo — complete with blankets, hot water bottles, and many family from England.

It was definitely less “formal wedding”… more the cosiest gathering imaginable.

From day one, Vicky and Derek shared my sense of humour (which should probably come with a warning), and getting to know them properly has been an absolute joy.

They were kind enough to invite my family along — and even made sure I was fed with a proper breakfast roll — but I left the family at home, because when it’s your wedding day, it should be entirely about you (even if I did briefly consider bringing them for the rolls).

I’m genuinely gutted it’s all over, but so grateful to have been part of something so personal, relaxed and full of laughter.

Vicky & Derek — thank you for trusting me with your day 🥂 ❤️

✨ If you’re planning a wedding that feels more like you and less like a performance, that’s exactly how I love to do ceremonies.

What a joy it was to be the wedding celebrant for Lilian & Allie at the stunning House for an Art Lover ❤️

An amazing couple, genuinely made for each other, and a ceremony filled with so much love and laughter.

From stories of nights at the Barrowlands to memories involving the Blue Lagoon chippy 🍟 — it was one of those ceremonies where smiles (and laughs) were guaranteed from start to finish.

Being married on the last day of January felt perfectly fitting too…

They met in January.
They got engaged in January.
They moved in together in January.
So of course, January had to be the month they said “I do” 💍

And I can honestly say — I’ve never heard a louder cheer or seen more confetti than at the end of their ceremony 🎉✨ Absolute scenes.

Huge thanks as always to the fantastic dream team at House for an Art Lover — such a joy to work alongside people who care so much about making every wedding feel special.

✨ If you’re planning your wedding in 2026 and want a ceremony that’s personal, relaxed, and full of laughter (with your story at the heart of it), I’d love to chat.

🎄✨ Merry Christmas, lovely people! ✨🎄

As another year comes to an end (and with one last wedding still to go before I can officially put my feet up for a few weeks before we go again in 2026 😅💍), I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who trusted me with their big day. Being asked to stand up front, tell your love story and keep everything running smoothly while the emotions kick in is genuinely a privilege and an honour ❤️

I’m also chuffed to bits to share that I’m a Confetti Wedding Awards finalist for 2026 — for the second year in a row! 🎉🏆

That’s all down to your votes and support, so THANK YOU for clicking buttons, spreading the word and generally being brilliant 🙌💖
I’m already so excited for the year ahead, especially for all the couples who get to say those magic words… “I’m getting married this year!” 🥰💍✨

Wishing you all a Christmas full of love, laughter, great food 🍗 and hopefully fewer awkward family seating plans than at weddings 😉😂

Here’s to more love stories in 2026! 🥂✨
