***ANNOUNCEMENT***

Unfortunately our 2025 Christmas Light Show is cancelled for this year.

This would be the start of bringing everything down, into the garden, mounted, connected and any issues resolved. Its a whole months worth just to get it prepared.

Truth is, 2025 has been a very busy year and for the lights to happen we need to start programming in March. Personal and Work commitments have hampered that effort this year.

Each year we've grown on the last, and although we had bigger plans for this year, the time hasn't been on our side, and I certainly wouldn't want a "recycled" show from previous years.

So, we are really sorry, but, 2026 anyone?

CHRISTMAS EVE LIGHTS

A few people have mentioned to us that on Christmas Eve it would be good to have the lights playing our 2024 show again, so to get you in the spirit the lights will automatically play at 4pm and repeat til 6:30pm so you're welcome to come by and watch. Unfortunately though, Santa is pre-occupied. So, pop on by, film and tag us us on Tiktok and Facebook and enjoy your night.

Cadder Christmas Lights are On for 2024!

We are based at 34 Vaila Street, Glasgow, G23 5BD

Although we run no specific shows(other than the switch on), we do have our own website that allows you to control the display!

Just visit cadderchristmaslights.co.uk. when you are outside...
Weekdays 4pm - 8pm and Weekends 4pm - 9pm are when you'll be able to select the songs, and hear the audio through your phone.

There are songs from Taylor Swift, David Guetta, and even Bits and Pieces!!! The usual Christmas songs are available too....so come along, pull up outside and have a play!

CONTROL THE SHOW IS BACK!!!

Last year we trialled a bit of kit that allowed anyone to control the show through their phone. This year...its IMPROVED...

When you're in the street you'll be able to see the list of songs available 4pm-8pm on weekdays, and 4pm-9pm at the weekend.
Song audio will play through your phone

Feel free to absolutely use and abuse this feature :D

2024 SWITCH ON

We just want to say a massive thanks to everyone who turned up to see the light show switch on. We had a fantastic turnout :)

We also want to thank :
Robert - whos garden we take up for 2 months, and all the help he gives.
Tony - cherry picker guy for getting the tree and arch up, aswell as lighting his car up for Santa and the mascots to appear in
Nicolle - Hot chocolate lass, and generally has to put up with me talking about the lights all year
And everyone else who has donated time and money to make the event run smoothly.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON TONIGHT

We are really looking forward to seeing you all tonight at 5:30pm, at the fence to 34 Vaila Street.

Lasting roughly 30mins. Santa and mascots will be roaming around, plus selection boxes for the first 100 kids from Santa. Glowsticks are ready too...

Hot Chocolate will be available too for £1, and donations are more than welcome, going to a charity close to home!

We've heard Santa has had a chance to practice his dance moves too!!! Photo opportunity with Santa at the Arch.

Christmas songs and the usual Chart songs...with some Bits & Pieces Finale.
