What a great wee day! Started with a drum lesson, followed by a swim, then finished off with a relaxing whirlpool bath at Bannatyne’s.

Feeling refreshed and appreciate doing something productive, although I think my wee arms might have something to say about it tomorrow!

One of my favourite things to do when I’m not creating music is getting out and finding inspiration.

Last week that meant a road trip to Bamburgh, and wow, what a beautiful place. There’s nothing quite like good music, open roads, and amazing scenery to reset your mind and spark new ideas.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your creativity is step away, explore somewhere new, and give yourself time to breathe.

Safe to say I’ll be back. Maybe next time with a tent! 🎶🚗🌊✨

Seeing the students from DJ Skool now performing at Club LATE Late genuinely makes me so happy.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. It’s been my escape during some of the hardest times, and when I first started DJing at Club Late back in 2019, I never imagined I’d still be here years later, now watching others go through that same journey.

What stands out most is the growth that music brings to people. Watching the students learn, build confidence, and then to perform in a real club setting is something special. It’s not just about DJing it’s about feeling part of something and having a space where people can express themselves. I can’t thank Dj Stu Mclean enough for giving me the chance to see how it works and ideas on how to develop a way to bring this kind of thing to my local community.

I honestly can’t say enough about Include Me 2 Club and Club Late. The work they do, creating a space where people feel welcomed and connected through music, it never stops amazing me. It really does bring everyone together.

Paul Mcilvenny once said to me, “you know you’re in the right place when you find your tribe,” and that stuck with me. It even inspired me to write a song.

People often say I volunteer, but the truth is, I get just as much back if not more. Some of the best moments of my week or month have been in that room, whether we’re learning together or playing to a crowd. The energy, the enthusiasm, the happiness it’s something you can’t really explain unless you’ve felt it.

My university project led me to DJ Skool, and I’m genuinely grateful it did. It brings me great joy to see people of it people grow and follow their dreams and just talking about music together creates a real sense of community

I’ll keep showing up for as long as I’m welcome, because what’s being built here is something really special and I hope it’s something we can bring to too for those who can’t travel.

Everyone should be allowed to experience music no exceptions we all have the right to find that joy in our lives.

Music really is the soundtrack to our lives 🙏

Rave Day Today

It’s the hottest party in the New Year Remember it’s for Charity to raise money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital. There is a link for tickets and a link if you just want to donate something small. What makes it even better is seeing genuinely good work happening in our city. This day club party is raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, and that’s something worth showing up for.

There’s an incredible lineup on the day, including GBX Anthems, Zander Nation, and a brilliant mix of DJs including some of my favourite female DJs all giving their time for a great cause. I’m proud to be part of it.
