A wee then and now - 12 years ago delighted to provide some background music at the after party of the Hands Up for Trad Scots Trad Music Awards in Fort William with what was an extremely primitive setup by today’s standards!

And last night getting to DJ the OVO Hydro in Glasgow - Scotlands largest indoor venue for the 2nd year in a row as part of the incredibly Hoolie in the Hydro!

Fair to say the gear has been upgraded a few times over in the meantime!

15 years ago I did my first DJ ‘gig’ - a trad disco ran off a clapped out laptop and an mp3 player in the Holiday Inn East Kilbride.

Last night I got to do a (slightly) more refined effort in Scotland’s biggest venue as part of the absolutely insane Hoolie in the Hydro 🤯

I just never dreamt this music would be at the level where over 10,000 would pack in and sing, dance and cry all night long!

Massive thanks to Gary Innes for the opportunity to be a part of it - an absolute hero!

Just home from my first visit to the Patrick O'Keeffe Traditional Music Festival, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and what a great weekend of music!

Just a quick look at the names on the poster (get out a magnifying glass 🤣) shows the number of amazing musicians playing for the weekend!
