Remembrance wreaths for St Helens Church Willingham by Stow. With laurel to symbolise victory and glory and rosemary for remembrance. The first is for the men from our village who gave their lives in the service of their country in two world wars. The second wreath is for the 8,000,000 horses, donkeys and mules who also lost their lives in war.
Both wreaths are fully compostable, except for the polyester petals of the poppies (paper petals next year) Most of the plant material was grown in and around the village, even the straw bases. I like to think that the men who lost their lives from our village would have known the land and the gardens as boys, where these memorial wreaths were grown and made so many decades later. We must never forget 🌺 🌺 🌹🇬🇧

We make wreath bases by hand from Somerset willow, perfect for sustainable wreath making. Excellent for half covered wreaths too, as the willow texture is lovely in its own right. No moss needed if using evergreen foliage. We have a variety of sizes and shapes available. DM me for a wholesale price list (5 minimum)

It is always an honour to be asked to create a floral tribute. The one for this gentleman was to be vibrant, strong and natural, with seasonal British flowers. There also some meaningful cuttings taken from the family garden. Fully compostable, sustainable Farewell Flowers.
