My Story
I have always had a flair for the theatrical; creating and curating an event is like putting on a production; the stage is set, the players are costumed and the audience gathered. I am proud to have earned my stripes in some of the best local, award-winning restaurants, hotels and landmarks, including The Durham Ox in Crayke, West Park Hotel in Harrogate and the stunning Grade II listed Ballroom; De Grey Rooms in York. It is a privilege to work with a couple or family and help create an event that tells their story, and most importantly helps them create memories to be cherished. They are a chance for family and friends to come together; golden moments in the humdrum of life. My role is to give you as little or as much assistance as you need in planning your occasion, to listen to your hopes for the day and find a way to realise them. Behind the scenes of any event, hours of planning are spent in preparation and when the day comes you want to relax and enjoy it. I will be there to coordinate your suppliers, anticipate the unexpected, and provide reassurance that your day will run smoothly.

An English country wedding for Texan sweethearts - after studying in the UK, Ashlee had dreamed of marrying her beau in an English castle - it was an absolute privilege to help her make her dream a reality.

Their American guests flew in for the best of British hospitality (and experienced our eclectic summer climate) in the beauty of the British countryside, where Cumbria meets Yorkshire for a celebration I hope they cherish through their future together 🫶🏼

One of the many, many things I love about this couple is how they approached planning their wedding; from blind-tasting the w**e selection with their friends, to suit fittings to buying their wedding rings - each was a mini event in itself!

Your wedding isn’t a single day, it’s all the moments that lead up to it - and planning with intention and heart is what we love most.

Planning J+G’s weekend long wedding in the Cotswolds, was a joy from the very first call to saying teary goodbyes after the guests had departed.

W E D D I N G S T Y L I N G from D E S I G N

Elmore Court, Gloucestershire 🤍

Working with S+D to create their English country garden / geek chic wedding was an absolute joy.

I took inspiration from the surrounding Cotswolds countryside and sand stone buildings, using classic tones of sage green with pops of early summer pastel colours.

To ensure the design was true to them, their stationary was embossed with Dragons and we used D+D alignments for Table Names - I loved weaving their ideas and inspirations into the final design 🫶🏼 Huge thanks to Tonicha Taal for her hard work and excellent styling skills - I could not have brought it to life without you 🤍

But it was the incredible Wedding flowers and styling | Yorkshire and beyond | who stole the show with their stunning florals! Collaborating with a florist you trust is the dream - and they absolutely floored me with the wedding breakfast flower bombs and 24 foot long tablescape 🙌🏼
