This year has been pretty awesome tbh and I’m really leaning into being a multi passionate artist 🎉

Balancing life and biz comes with lessons all the time, but I’ve settled into a good combo of buffer days and scheduled time off, alongside being super busy with client and personal projects 💪🏽

Willow is an animator, designer and stand-up comedian whose work is full of colour, creativity and humour, but this session carried a deeper significance too.

Creating her first set of professional personal brand portraits was all about celebrating everything they are, how far they’ve come, and their new found confidence to be truly seen 🎉

Willow Marler arrived with a bold creative vision and a clear sense of purpose. Through our collaborative Creative Direction Session, I produced detailed Shoot Plan that balanced ambition with practicality, creating two distinct visual worlds that support Willow’s creative life.

Hair and makeup artist ALTERNATIVE HAIR AND MAKEUP helped bring each look to life, while my brilliant pal and assistant Emily Joan helped keep the day running smoothly behind the scenes. Together, we created a studio environment where Willow felt free to express herself to the fullest!

The result was a collection of editorial style portraits that are playful, stylish and beautifully personal.

I recently photographed my wonderful friend Jess as she prepared for her debut solo exhibition which starts TODAY (slide 2 for deets) 🎉

Over the past 5 years, I’ve photographed Jess Paints many times, but this session was extra special. knew it would be the second she asked me to make Artist Portraits to welcome her into this exciting new era with confidence and intention.

Casual styling, a real world set up in her studio and a make-up free vibe offered the perfect rested, creative atmosphere we wanted.

These images are now proudly promoting her exhibition (which I cannot wait to celebrate later!) and give her audience a sneak peak behind the scenes on her brand new website.

Jess booked The Flow State - a new package this summer! Designed for artists, creatives and founders, we’ll spend up to 3 hours in your space or studio, making portraits and lifestyle imagery that’ll make you actually *want* to promote yourself and share your magic with the world.

Open Minds Active is a Bristol based CIC, aiming to reduce health inequalities within communities by widening access to nature and blue spaces.

I recently spent the morning with them, creating a bank of images and videos that share the sense of belonging and confidence they cultivate through their welcoming group swimming courses 🏊🏽‍♀️

Maggy, the founder, asked me to make a cohesive set of portraits of the team members, alongside lifestyle imagery of the swimmers in action - both anonymous and in all their post-swim smiley glory ☀️

The team were keen for me to lean into my documentary approach - catching the action as it unfolds and seeing the small moments and details that can float away all too easily (pardon the pun 😎)
