Fowlmere Village Hall Management Committee received their well-deserved Hallmark Accreditations 2 & 3. Fowlmere is the second of two village halls in the whole of Cambridgeshire to have achieved all three Accreditations.

The Hallmark accreditation has three levels. Level one covers charity administration and management, Level two health and safety, security and licencing and finally Level three, the top award, covers community involvement, forward planning and development. Each level must be successfully completed before the management committee can move forward to the next.
Benefits of achieving the Hallmark standard for village halls include formal recognition that the community facility has embedded good practice and procedures and giving residents and hirers confidence that their valuable community venue is being well managed and run by the trustees.

We would like to remind everyone that the recycling bins are not for the disposal of your personal rubbish. These bins are for the use of the Village Hall only, and when filled by other rubbish it causes great inconvenience to users of the Hall.
We are lucky to have Thriplow Recycling Plant close by so personal rubbish can be easily deposited there.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation
